We would like to poll event attendees - members & guests using the event attendee list. Limiting it to just members limits the feedback opportunity and doesn’t support new member recruitment. And, members should not have to log in to take the poll!! Having that as a requirement may cause members not to respond.

Hello, thanks for the feedback and support of this idea.
We’re currently working on the text messaging service connected with your Wild Apricot account.
The new service will allow you to send the text message to the specific contact or send the campaign to the group of contacts. It will cover the typical scenarios like reminders for members, updates for event attendees, follow-ups with email non-openers, etc.
We’re going to start providing the service for customers in US and Canada and later consider other countries, like AU and UK.
More updates to come soon! Thanks again for your support!

Our members prefer text communications. Some do not read the emails because they only view text messages as relevant. Texting would help us strengthen member communications. Thanks.

For me personally, this a great suggestion and I’ve been thinking about it for long time myself. Ideally, I’d really like completely redesign our membership levels to concurrent subscriptions model. Subscription gives you access to some information or provide privileges. There can be multiple ways of buying it – e.g. for a year or two, recurring or not, etc. Altogether, subscription-based model is very robust and easy to understand. Please, vote!

Our organization uses a membership structure of Individual Membership and Joint (Dual) membership. While we are currently using the Batching process to handle Joint Membership requirements, it's very cumbersome when it comes to event registration where a spouse is treated as a guest rather than a member. This results in inaccurate registrations which requires the web administrator to correcting invoicing, payments and/or handle registrations for members manually.
Our requirement for Joint Member event registration is that a registration automatically results in both husband/wife being registered with appropriate invoicing and payment for the joint registration fees.

Our organization has a large number of 'joint memberships' for husband/wife members. To handle this in WA, we need to use 'bundles'. While this concept works, it's confusing to our members, challenging when adding members and almost impossible for bundle administrators to manage on their own - particularly if they are trying to restore their membership from archive after lapsing into past due status. I would like WA to recognize joint memberships and simplify event registration, membership additions, billing and overall membership management for these types of accounts.

I agree. We need full ‘finance admin’ permissions for our Treasure. He should be able to handle all of the functionality under the Finance tab on the website, including changing the credit card number associated with our site. It’s risky to give an untrained person full admin permissions. This is a high priority request for our organization.
