An error occurred while saving the comment Glenn Brodie commentedEliminate the customer unfriendly "I am not a Robot" reCaptcha task by upgrading to reCaptcha V3 which is invisible: https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/versions#recaptcha_v3.
Our members object strongly to the task and end up not logging into our site meaning we have to rely on hidden pages with links for many pages that should be behind a login. I run 3 separate sites - all have the same objection that is solvable. -

For now, this is not something we’re going to change – not sure if ever.
Workaround to use: create a special “entry” free level to apply to, and close “normal” ones for application. For the entry level, create also a dropdown field where a potential member can choose a level they want to apply to. Add other fields you need to assess the application. When application is successful, your admin is to change membership level to required one and generate membership invoice (membership upgrade invoice). The member will be emailed with the invoice and can pay.Glenn Brodie supported this idea · -

12 characters are excessive for our over 65 user base. No reason to expire then, it just makes them less secure as people just start writing them on a sticky by the desktop. Use new Google captcha which is all in the background. Matching ridiculous photos prevents users from logging in
