Given the importance of eMail address for new members signing up to a Wild Apricot managed system is seems not ideal that there is no ability to insist that eMail addresses are entered twice, then automatically checked for consistency. Most other systems using eMail address as a 'username;' do this to catch the majority of typos etc.
Problem not so acute with entry of the password, as you can always get a password reminder.

Currently it is not possible to suspend a site whilst major changes are being carried out; that is replace the site for a while with a 'site undergoing maintenance' message. This would be a useful feature to avoid user annoyance during major updates.
Would need to be effected by an administrator 'switch' to make site live or not, and 'maintenance message would need to be programmable.

An error occurred while saving the comment colinshead commentedThis would be an excellent facility, and would improve the ability to integrate Wild Apricot into other sites. If the widget recreated just the login 'box' at the bottom left of the default Wild Apricot Home Page that would be all that is needed.

Hi I upload mostly pdf documents for our technical library. But I also periodically download the entire resources folder in order to mirror it off-line, and provide a detailed search facility (including content) on all the contents of the resources folder.
