We would like to be able to make event registration types available to select groups, as well as membership levels. For example:

For our juniors camps, we require a non-refundable deposit at time of registration with balance due prior to camp. So, I would definitely like to see this functionality added. It would allow us to offer online registration for camps thru Wild Apricot. As it is, we have to use another system just for camp registration.

For me personally, this a great suggestion and I’ve been thinking about it for long time myself. Ideally, I’d really like completely redesign our membership levels to concurrent subscriptions model. Subscription gives you access to some information or provide privileges. There can be multiple ways of buying it – e.g. for a year or two, recurring or not, etc. Altogether, subscription-based model is very robust and easy to understand. Please, vote!

We would definitely use multiple membership levels. We have several basic membership levels. But members may add-on additional privileges to their basic membership. Right now, we are planning to use a PayPal shopping cart for members to purchase those add-ons. Then, members who purchase an add-on are assigned to a group (of others who have added on the same privileges).

A new member contacted me to find out if their membership registration went through. They had not received a registration confirmation or invoice, but I had received the administrator's copies. When I checked, I found that they had left out a single "i" in their email address. Would it be possible to add a Confirm your email field to the Contact form?

We have started analysis for this issue, and it seems that key problem is how Wild Apricot handles level changes close to renewal date. The system is currently designed to collect the full new level amount and set renewal date according to new level renewal policy. All prepaid amounts for old levels are disposed. Moreover, since no prorating occurs, the new level might be effective only for a few days.
As a first step, we suggest to redesign how level change is working and add prorating there:
- Level would be changed immediately, as now
- Remaining portion of old membership level payment will be applied to new level
- For new levels with specific renewal date (e.g. annual levels with renewals Jan 1st) apply the pro-rating settings for new applications:
- Allow member to pay only a pro-rated amount of the new level fee (e.g. six months before renewal…Erica supported this idea ·

Allowing members, anytime during the year, to "upgrade" from one membership level to a "higher" level & apply membership fees already paid toward new membership would be really helpful.
Actually, being able to use groups in other areas would be extremely useful. For example, ability to send event announcements to select groups (as well as select membership levels, rather than simply members) would be immensely useful.
