    Badly needed.

    I have several thousand PDF's / documents that need to be searchable by members (Subscribers).

    Could you implement the likes of Google Customer Search Engine www.google.com/cse , in the intrim, until Wild Apricot creates its own internal search engine for PDF's.?

    As per other messages, until this is implemented, Wild Apricot should warn users that the search function will not find content in PDF / documents on the site.

    Similar comments - I have thousands of files from 19+ years - impossible to turn to page content. When a user searches a website, they expect to, and it is reason to be able to find content within files contained with in the website site.

    Until this fixed, Wild Apricot should put a warning message up each time a user enters text in the search field, that it will NOT find the search word or phrase in any document associated with the site.

    Even though it is not a direct implementation, I hope this could be helpful:

    We just launched integration with Integromat platform, which helps to build automated workflows. We also provide several templates for quick start, and one of them allows to copy google calendar events into WA events. So if you share a google calendar for events submission, then the scenario could copy submitted events into your Wild Apricot account.
    You can try this integration by this link https://www.integromat.com/en/integration/2275-copy-google-calendar-into-wild-apricot-events

    Validation of email accounts when a member (subscriber) signs up.

    I want to use Wild Apricot to run and manage a digital subscription service (not run an association as such).

    Fundamental to any online registration is validation that the email account entered belongs to the person filling in the online registration to become a member/subscriber (when they are applying for membership).

    A message on the screen could have words to the affect;

    Registration Successful
    Thank you for registering.
    What happens next?
    You will receive an email to authenticate your registration. This is to ensure that your email address is not used without your permission.
    After your email is verified, you will be added to our subscribers email distribution list and can log in and start reading articles, access subscriber resources.

    Then the Email to subscriber would contain text such as;

    Thank you for registering with <name of business>.
    Click here to confirm your email address and activate your account. (This line would be an URL)
    Regards
    Team at <company name>
