An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedAdding to this, retention by way of building online community is essential for non-profit community organizations. We need to give members access at to discussions at their fingertips, the member app would be great. We get so many people saying they get fed up having to log in each time, especially on the iPhone as it does the face recognition as an extra step. Please add the plain text option urgently, thank you.
An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedPlease can you update us on this? Our members are starting to complain about the multi-step process to access the forum, having to log in to the website then find the forum before commenting. We used to have more of a listserv discussion, Bigtent, and our online community interaction has declined significantly since we switched over the WA.
It would be good to understand the strategic vision for WA as the online engagement across communities is vastly overlooked? Everything else is wonderful, however, the lack of functionality in this area is starting to hurt our 77yr old organization.
Two things would help:
1. Allowing admin to opt members onto email updates from the forum.
2. Having a text version of the forum on the member app. Here is a recent member comment from a survey we ran:
LexFUN does a lot for its members - thank you! But a sore point is the Discussion group. A better Discussion group format where it's actually easy to send messages and reply to messages would be hugely helpful. The level of discussion and information/questions being posted has really gone down. With the old BigTent, I got daily email digests and could reply to someone's post with one click from the email - the person's email address was embedded into the email digest. With the current WildApricot/LexFUN process, I have to remember my login, then login to those websites, and then reply. It's multiple clicks and not user friendly. If I post any query to the Discussion group, I'm then depending on someone else to go through the entire process to reply.

We're considering to take Donations during registrations/applications into development right now, but during analysis of the feature we ran into an issue where we would love to hear your feedback.
Essense of question: how would you like donations during applications or registration to be processed for offline payments (when your member/prospect decided to get an invoice and pay later)?
Some more details:
We can implement donations during event registrations/membership renewals for online payments - not a problem.
But when we're talking about offline payments, straighforward solution seems to be a bit expensive - we don't have invoices for donations or pledges yet.
So right now we're considering going on with straighforward online payments solution (donation will be added to payment transaction) and for offline payments - just include an invoice memo to buyer to add $XXX to his payment as donation for event/membership he has selected.
This way administrators would…

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedI completely agree that branding is required on the app. I also requested that it includes a link to the main website as there is so much more information for members on there. I was advised that a URL link would be included in the next release so would be keen to understand when that will be?
As we all know, engagement in our online communities is key to retain and attract members and the app should emulate the web function as much as possible - or at least link to it. I also requested that the forum is included on the app - see wishlist topic https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/32977381-new-member-app-include-an-option-for-members-toAnonymous supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedPlease, please, please add this function. We have less than a third of our base subscribed to forum updates as people just forget to do it and our members are missing essential community news as a result.
An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedWhat is the update on this? Will admin be able to subscribe members to forums in the near future?
Can anyone suggest a 3rd party forum that can be embedded?

What is the latest on this, clearly there is a huge demand for this functionality?
