For now, this is not something we’re going to change – not sure if ever.
Workaround to use: create a special “entry” free level to apply to, and close “normal” ones for application. For the entry level, create also a dropdown field where a potential member can choose a level they want to apply to. Add other fields you need to assess the application. When application is successful, your admin is to change membership level to required one and generate membership invoice (membership upgrade invoice). The member will be emailed with the invoice and can pay.

I agree. This needs to be fixed. If you don't notice that the renewal date changes when you change the membership level, you are giving the member a free year of membership. It makes no sense for the renewal date to auto-change. There should at least be a pop-up confirmation box asking you to hit OKAY or CANCEL.

In the Member Summary, it only shows the number of Bundles (in parentheses, in small gray text) in the Total Column. I would like to see the number of Bundles (in parentheses, in small gray text) in ALL of the summary table columns.
Our members are households, not individuals, and I want to see the number of households (bundles) that are lapsed, and not the number of individuals.
If this doesn't make sense for everybody, perhaps there could be a TOGGLE checkbox/link that shows/hides the number of bundles in the summary table?

I've seen this when adding a new contact. It pre-populates the new contact's email address and password fields. Easy fix to stop auto-population of input fields, just add the following inside the input tag: autocomplete="off"
