We just launched integration with Integromat platform, which helps to build automated workflows. We also provide several templates for quick start, and one of them demonstrates how to send event attendance certificates as professionally looking PDF files.

Even though it is not a direct implementation, I hope this could be helpful:
We just launched integration with Integromat platform, which helps to build automated workflows. We also provide several templates for quick start, and one of them allows to copy google calendar events into WA events. So if you share a google calendar for events submission, then the scenario could copy submitted events into your Wild Apricot account.

Birthdays are important to our group too. We are a women's only social organization. We only track birth month and birth year on our profile record as well. Then we created a "birthday gals" page, and created save searches for each month and one saved search for the year. We created links to the saved searches. The members can click the month link and see whose with it is ( we use the same gadget as profile / featured members) to display photos, show the month and date of the birthday girl ( sorted in birthday order). That way the members can click on their name or email address and send an email message to them right away. If they want to search for the birthday of a special friend, they can also do that by clicking the saved search for all birthdays.
We have also used the WA email templates and created custom club birthday cards. All you have to do each month, is send to the "saved search" list and have ecards sent to members to members.
