I believe this could be handled by allowing customization of the public Attendee list.

    http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8827930-customize-public-event-attendee-list-e-g-show-c

Unless I'm missing something, people can register for an event even if the price is zero.

Merged several posts together, so that both public and admins lists can be customized. This is better for analysis and design to work on them together.

It should be possible to display selected common and member fields and also additional questions from the registration form.

I'll support this, but would also like it for the Registrant list that is available for members to view. And it should support common and member fields as well as additional questions from the registration form.

Our members want to know which of their friends are coming to events, and that includes the number of people (adults and children) which are additional questions on the registration.

This is also something the volunteers preparing dinner need to know. At the moment the only way they can see that is to have admin privileges. That is not only poor administrative practice but is now expensive. :)

Maybe I'm not understanding the request. But can this be accomplished by making a copy of the picture and fading it so that it is very light, and using that for the background? I do this all the time with my backgrounds.

This would help us too. When our boating members register for a cruise, they need to enter their boat length and width. So I had to make those common fields instead, which makes no sense for most nonmember contacts.

Why not just pre-populate any registration form field whose name matches either a common or membership field with the contents of that field, if any?

Michael told me a way to do this with Theme Overrides. However the link to the post on the old system that tells how to do it no longer works and I can't find it by searching.

Steve, thanks! That is a 90% workaround. It still leaves the hyphen but that's a big improvement.

It would be better if the event admin could give the member an option to pay online or at the door. This can be handled now through two registration types - prepay and pay at door. But if we have different registration types for, say, Adult and Child (because different prices) it would be necessary to have four types. Or more if there are more choices.

The simple fix would be to omit the word "Free" in the listing when the price is 0. Then we can give the pay at door information in the details.

But it would be better if the event admin could give the member the option to check "Pay at door" when the payment screen comes up.

See further discussion in this thread http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8825605-simplified-event-registration-rsvp-1545 .

    +5*

A bundle for us is a family with one address. We don't want the address to be part of the spouse/partner's information because it has to be the same for both. Address could be made a membership field, but then it can't be part of a contact too, right?

    * - And Meagan asked for this too, here http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8825677-revising-bundle-membership-functionality-2492 .

Edit: Actually at least four people in that thread asked for this.

This is looking like a deal breaker for us too. We need email lists with moderation.

We use a listserv with three lists - full membership, board and board plus administrators.

The WA email feature can't be enabled separately from certain admin privileges. And we want any member to be able to email the club, but most of them have to be moderated.

We could use group-restricted forums for the board and board+admin list. But WA doesn't let the admin subscribe new board members to the forum so they get email notifications; we have to tell each of them to do that themselves.
