An error occurred while saving the comment Arthur Caldicott commentedIt is three years since this wish list item has been commented on.
The Rules and Terms field type is at best a way of encouraging someone to look at something. It's a preposterous thing to suggest when what we need is a verifiable signature on a document.
WordPress now has a number of signature plugins. It's long overdue that Wild Apricot/Personify add this feature to its package, especially now in the coronavirus world where getting together to sign documents is ill-advised and our websites should be exemplars of best behaviour.
Perhaps someone in the user community has a usable service or work-around?

An error occurred while saving the comment Arthur Caldicott commentedAffiniPay allows users to create "Tags" called "Category 1" and "Category 2" in their merchant applications that can be passed through to the AffiniPay process, thereby enabling the merchant application to share custom information about the transaction origination to AffiniPay's reporting and back to the paying customer.
However, Wild Apricot has not implemented hooks in its application to allow its clients (the "merchant") to make use of the tags feature.
It's there for the using, so please, Wild Apricot, get it working for us.
The attached image is from the AffiniPay control panel payments settings page.

Hello everyone!
Seeing your activity on this thread we would like to present you with three new templates using the third-party app called “Integromat”. They could help you to:
- Copy an event with registrants
- Export registrations into a Google sheet
- Import registrations from a Google sheetThese need a short one-time setup and then you’ll be able to do the actions above in just a few clicks!
For more info see our blog: https://www.wildapricot.com/blogs/newsblog/2019/04/30/event-registration-integromat
We absolutely understand this is not a solution but more of a workaround for this request, so we won’t close this thread. But feel free to share your thoughts about these templates as well!
Please note, these workflows have some limitations and might not suit everybody. But we hope they will make your life a bit easier.
An error occurred while saving the comment Arthur Caldicott commentedThis functionality would be very useful for new events, and to preserve the status of an existing event where you want a populated duplicate, instead of just the empty meta-data for an event which is what you get now with the "Duplicate" button. The template for the import structure of an event, could be exactly the structure of an export file from the same or a duplicated event.
I volunteered to help out with the website for an organization when the person who had been their web support left. I knew nothing about Wild Apricot at the time. I recognize that there are things it does well, but I am continually surprised at the number of standard system/business things it does not do and apparently has no interest in supporting: digital signatures, custom forms, conditional logic. All the glorious functionality of WordPress plugins so near, yet so far away. Conditional logic - such a rudimentary feature of all software systems! Add me to those who want to see it in WA.
