Delay when sending emails to AOL accounts - Jan 6, 2010
Yesterday morning (January 6th, 2010) we received reports that emails sent to accounts with "@aol.com" extensions were being delayed. Upon investigating we found that AOL had temporary limited the rate that emails from our servers could sent due to a sudden increase in emails being sent out. No emails were being blocked - there was only a delay in when AOL delivered them.
We have contacted AOL to resolve this issue and are waiting to hear back from them. In the meantime we have switched over to our backup email server and emails are now being delivered as normal.

Upcoming version 4.1 upgrade on Wednesday January 12, 2011
Our next upgrade - version 4.1 - is planned for Wednesday, January 12th, 2011
Servers will be taken off-line intermittently from 2:50 am to 7:00am, Eastern time (GMT-5)
Please notify other users in your organization as appropriate.All accounts will be upgraded automatically and all data will be converted to the new version. We will also maintain full backups of your data before the upgrade for any troubleshooting.
As always, new version will provide improvements and enhancements to Wild Apricot, addressing your feedback and requests, incuding the following:

Hosting provider maintenance notice Jan 6, 2011
Our hosting provider scheduled network hardware maintenance for Jan 6, 2011 starting at 1:00 am EST (Toronto/New York). (Software Code Upgrade on Core Switches recommended by manufacturer.)
Maintenance window will be up to to 3 hours, but expected downtime for Wild Apricot service is minimal to none because of redundant hardware.

Nov 5, Friday, pm - currently experiencing a malfunction of import
Several clients have reported experiencing problems importing their contacts/members. System hangs up during the file upload stage. We are investigating this, though resolution might take until Monday Nov 8.

Wild Apricot upgrade on Sunday September 26th from 2am to 8am EST
Our next upgrade - version 4.0 - is planned for Sunday, September26th, 2010

48 minutes of downtime on Saturday Sep 11 at 8:30 am
Due to a hardware malfunction at our hosting company all our services were not reachable for 48 minutes. This has been fixed and measures are being undertaken to prevent this occurring again.

10 minutes of unscheduled downtime on September 8, 2010 at 8:57 am
Our hosting company has experience an outage for 10 minutes today from 8:57 to 9:07 am
As a result, all client websites as well as our help and support sites were inaccessible for 10 minutes.
All systems are back to normal now and we are investigating the reason for this outage with our hosting provider.

Images / resources access issues
We had several clients report today a problem with their websites - CSS files and images were not loading and resources folder was inaccessible.
We traced the problem down to one of the web servers in our server farm. (This meant that a proportion of users connecting to your site was experiencing problems while other were working fine because they were directed to other web servers).
Once rebooted, normal functionality was restored.
