It would be great to provide a discount coupon function for event. The advantage of the discount coupon code is that it is more flexible, the discount amount is only know to those individuals that actually have the coupon code and it is an optional field visable during checkout.

Currently events can have a registration type that is a "Code Required" registration type. This isn't really a great way to offer a discount because anyone can see the price offered under this "Code" registration type setup. This also forces what you want to be a discounted rate to a selected group to be a separate registration type when it really isn't, its just a price variance. We REALLY don't like the fact that the registration code option shows everyone (that is authorized to see it) what the discount price is because everyone will call and bug us on how they can get the discounted rate. Having it set up to be a discount percentage or amount available only if you "know the code" is something we prefer over what we can do now with events. We had to do some major work arounds in our last event to offer special pricing to a selected group and keep it hidden from others that would have registered for the same registration type.

Most online "stores" offer a discount code field where you put the code in as you check out. If you have a valid code you get a discount. If you don't have the code you don't get it. Pretty simple to understand and to use.

Is there any way you can either set up the membership coupon function to be available to be used on events (becuase it appears to work the way I'd like it to work for events) or switch the way the registration code function works so that it can work like the membership discount code works?

Hopefully others will vote for this too so you can have a feel for how important this is to WA users.

Like kbroders suggests, can't you set up a free registration "type" for each of your volunteer categories and then set up your registration form to itemize out what they will do to help. The registration form has the ability to add multiple choice options which they can review and click off each of the items you need help with.

I guess you could do this are part of your event registration process or set up an "Event" just to collect vounteers that could be separate from your actual event. Seems like you could get WA to help you out with this.

    Team Husky responded

    Sorry for the late update.

The first step was finished and emails can now be carbon copied to contact’s alternative emails. To do so the contact fields which store the alternative emails must be explicitly marked on the email setting page.

Unsubscribing will unsubscribe all alternative emails simultaneously because they all belong to the very same account. The person clicking “unsubscribe” is warned about this on the unsubscribe page.

For now we paused the development of this feature. but not for good. :) So I’m changing this wish status back to “collecting comments”.

Thank you everyone for a valuable feedback.

Hi, just a suggestion. Can't you make the husband and wife membership a bundled membership where one pays and the second one is free? This way you would be able to have both e-mail addresses receive messages, but only have one person pay. Another reason to do this is if the wife wants to go to one of your events and they are not on your member list they wouldn't be "seen" as a member. If you set them up as bundled members, either one could go to an event and both would be "seen" by the system as members.

    HI,

Ideally, it would be nice to have the login be very small so an iFrame version of it could be put right on the webpage instead of having a hyperlink requiring a new webpage to open. Can you make it look like the one below but change it so it isn't so wide, no print button, no authorization required error message and no extra text. Just the basics to request e-mail, password, remember me cookie and the login button. When they click login, they would be redirected to the company WA site. Can this be done?

I'd like to also add to this badge issue that this would be a very important and useful feature. We also would use the avery label size already quoted by others and the fields we'd like to see would be just name and company name.

I'd recommend if you set this up that you allow us to also insert a logo or image in the badge printing template along with the ability to define what fields will print on the badge from the fields offered in the database and where on the badge the logo/image and field can be inserted. Flexibility is important with this area.

I really don't see a big need for this function.
