I think we should consider the solution of the problem NOT from the point of immediate restrictions, but rather from reporting option for site admin.
Let me clarify.
* Each time member/admin logs in into the system, system records date/time, ID, IP address and browser information
* The log with this full logins history on per member basis and only for full site admins
* System also may summarize all logins and provide a likely number of different places where actual login may be performed (based on IP address, browser data, cookie, etc.)
* The summary is made per time period - like last month, last 3 months, last year, in total
* The summary also shows (based on IP) a likely location of log in
* Admin has a special report where he can look on all members from logins summary perspective and decided what her should do about suspicious members
* Admin has also an option somewhere in system setting if he wants the system to notify him as soon a member has new location within specific time period What do you think? This solution does not force all members to be blocked from login but rather gives admin a way to be notified or overview all suspicious members and contact them directly if required. Any comments are welcome. -

I moved the comment to another, more relevant thread.
What I actually think we should do is add an ability to select "system" pages (renewal page, forgot password, member profile, etc.) in the "Insert link" dialog. This will solve the problem for a multitude of different cases.

The link depends on your Wild Apricot version - version 5 uses /SysProfile, version 4.6 - the one you gave.

Just place the link to https://...../Sys/Profile (where ... is your site url)

Good idea, let's see what others will say.
Just to note: our plate of full now so the timeline for this idea is not clear for now.

This is a good and very easy to change - but we have a lot of things in our hands now so I cannot estimate when we can do this.

I have separated 404 customization comments to a dedicated thread - see http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308920-archive/suggestions/8834854-customizable-404-page-resource-not-found-error
Custom 404 is going to be part of 5.0 release, including special new gadget "Sitemap" (lists all site pages)

Customize 404 page - yes, part of 5.0.
Manage 301 redirects - no.

Thanks for expanded comment - this helps a lot.

Ad’s management is a huge business with strong players, so building something competitive will cost us a fortune. There is quite low probability that we will take it into development in the nearest future.
For simple cases we recommend to use existing CMS functionality to inject ad’s into site pages. In case if you need precise control on what and when should be shown, then we recommend to integrate 3-rd party solutions.

Sorry, no progress here and we do not expect any in 2011

Interesting that comments to initial Dmitri's post are quite opposite to his idea :)

Nice! I would suggest adding some graphics near "About" menu item, so it's clear that there are subitems in it.

I figured it out - looks like not all you page templates or pages' footer are updated. When you open https://risingharvestfarms17.wildapricot.org/email-list-sign-up, it gives 404 page and when you scroll to the bottom of this page and click on +Sign-up, you will see the wrong link

I mean when you click the link in the footer, you see 404 page.

Check this page - does not work
https://risingharvestfarms17.wildapricot.org/email-list-sign-up
(it's mentioned in the footer in Newsletters, +Sign-up)

Our basic approach will be simple: we will be releasing updates to some of "old" themes to make them responsive, but they will be separate from original ones. Admins will have to "switch theme" to have a new one. We will also update the theme switching process to allow preview the changes, smoothly move custom CSS, make page updates, etc. before publishing all live.
This is a short summary. We're currently working on it and as soon as we're ready with the first theme update (it's going to be Treehouse) and mentioned changes, we will be notifying our clients in details.

And, ideally, leave a comment in this Wishlist thread - http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8826097-ability-to-preview-changes-to-theme-header-css-b - so we can prioritize this change higher in our roadmap and finally create proper tool for such redesigns in future.

Clever :) No problem!

You can just add the code to Custom HTML gadget, nothing more.

No bible. After releasing version 5, where we introduced new CMS module, we're slowly introducing new themes, that are designed much better. Older themes, unfortunately, are still hard to customize.
This is in our analysis queue but with quite a low priority (I'm talking about the very first post on a series of emails after membership application).
