I have merged several similar suggestion together – they all about previewing various site functions from members perspective. For example, wen pages, registration and application forms, etc.

Merged together several closely related by meaning ideas – so we can properly resolve them all together, in different live scenarios

The issue is not the "From" email, it's the reply-to email. Right now, there is only one "Contact Email" line in the admin settings, which is where all replies to messages are sent, regardless of whether it's an event, membership, or other question. Wild Apricot has done an awesome job of creating an email routing structure for receiving copies of system emails that allows for people with different roles (who all have different, non-Wild Apricot email addresses) to receive different emails - we just want the same functionality for routing email replies. Thanks for considering!
Edit - I re-read the posts above, and I see where the "From" email piece is coming from now, I apologize for my misunderstanding. But would a routing system on the backend be possible that would allow different reply-tos, depending on blast email being sent? (So ideally, we'd be specifying from a drop-down list of admin emails, e.g., when we edit the template.)
An error occurred while saving the comment donahuea commentedI second this - and it's related to my wanting a membership reply-to field, too. Having the option to just edit the "From" field for the different types of communication would be an excellent solution!
An error occurred while saving the comment donahuea commentedI've been digging around finding various related posts. There have definitely been some steps taken on this it seems, but there are also still issues. We need membership emails to go out from the membership chair - it makes no sense for our members to see them as coming from me (although I'm the person in charge of the WA set up as well as the financial person and therefore my address will remain as the main contact). I've left other comments and posts around, but however it can happen (preferably as a "From" option rather than a reply-to, now that I've thought about it, though), would be great!
An error occurred while saving the comment donahuea commentedOur organization has a membership secretary who is in charge of, unsurprisingly, all things membership. One thing that would be really helpful for us is to be able to change the reply-to e-mail for membership-related messages so that new members can reply to her, rather than to the default organizer (me). I'm the treasurer and responsible for the money and for making sure our systems are set up, but I don't want to get all the member sign-up emails.
Wild Apricot already has this feature for events, which is fabulous - I'm hoping that it can happen for membership, too!
Thanks,
Amy

An error occurred while saving the comment donahuea commentedI'd like to also suggest that there should be some way that isn't just linking to the registration type, but rather to "side" events, which we currently manage quite well as "Multiple choice with extra cost" options.
Here's the scenario: we host an annual conference, and we have several different types of registration (member, non-member, student, etc.).
But each of those registration types can mark on the form whether they want to sign up for a continuing education (CE) class for an additional cost. The issue is that these CE classes have limited seats due to room space.
So I'm not sure how to do that, but it needs to be something separate from the registration type, because that would just make us have to have a huge registration type list for every combination of type and CE choice.
Thanks for considering!
Or you can do what I do and just open up a different browser - e.g., Internet Explorer if you're working in Firefox. :)
But I'll chime in on this thread that being able to preview the form would be very helpful, it is really time consuming to have to log in and go through the first registration steps in order to view a single change in the form, and then do it all again each time you tweak something. Thanks!
