Do you want to use cash reports for reconciliation only? Or do you want to compare invoices vs payments as well in this report?
It will be great if you elaborate what specific info you would like to see in such report and why.Thanks for sharing,

Did I get you right, that depending on HOW your received the donation (e.g. cash vs check) affects how donor can deduct his donation from taxes?
Or is it connected with how you process money inside your organization?It will be perfect if you briefly describe your setup so we could get overall impression of the problem. May be donation receipts is not the only thing you need.
But at the moment you can only send manual emails to the donor or create some kind of universal receipt email.

We will unlikely start sending invoices via snail mail automatically anytime soon.
Having said this, you can already print the invoice from admin backend and send it to your member. See more here: http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Emailing+or+printing+invoices+and+receipts
