    I gather that the plan for this has been discarded since the Google Doc link in this forum is no longer available. I've pretty much given up hope that this fundamental feature will ever be implemented by WA, so I was wondering if there is any option for using a 3rd party add-in that would allow some of the same functions. I have no idea how or whether that is even possible, but we really do need something if we are to continue to be able to use this service. Even the "forum email notifications" mentioned in the header for this idea would be better than nothing, which is what we have now.

    I have to agree wholeheartedly with everything Walt said. A mobile solution is no solution for my organization's user base. We need a simple, straightforward listserv functionality soon in order for Wild Apricot to remain our service provider. As noted by others in this forum, I don't understand why this is difficult for Wild Apricot when other SaaS providers have been able to implement it.

    I also have a couple of organizations I would like to bring on board, but the listserv function is critical for them deciding to sign up. Just trying to keep the pressure on!

    The lack of this feature is the only thing preventing me from recommending Wild Apricot to other organizations I work with. I hope it can be prioritized.

    I am still keenly awaiting this feature. I need it for my current site, plus there's another that I will recommend sign up for Wild Apricot once the feature is live.

    Can we get an update of where it stands? I thought it was "design ready" earlier, but I see it's now back to "collecting comments."

    This is the one major flaw that I have encountered in Wild Apricot. Our members are not likely to go to a site to post messages to go to the rest of the membership. We currently use a Google Group for that purpose, and as noted by numerous other posters, maintaining parallel mailing lists is a considerable burden. We are a professional organization, and for us the site is intended to streamline communications. It is unlikely to ever become a "go to" site that people log onto unless they are trying to accomplish something specific (e.g., look up another member, renew their membership). So I hope you either add a listserv type function or make it so that administrators can set forum subscription options for members.
