1. Version 7.9 update beginning on March 4th, 2020 at 4:00 am ET

   An update of Wild Apricot to version 7.9 is scheduled for Wednesday, March 4th, beginning at 4:00 am (ET). The process will take up to 3 hours, and no downtime is expected for Wild Apricot sites.

   The update will be rolled out to groups of accounts over a span of several days.

   In this release, we've added options to control the color and style of menu options without having to insert CSS code. As well, we're introducing a new code editor for editing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with code completion and validation. Finally, the Account and Help Center menus have been moved up from the bottom left corner of the main admin view screen because some users were unable to see them on certain browsers.

   An update of Wild Apricot to version 7.8 is scheduled for Wednesday, February 5th, beginning at 4:00 am (ET). The process will take up to 3 hours, and no downtime is expected for Wild Apricot sites.

   The update will be rolled out to groups of accounts over a span of several days.

   In this release, we've updated the layout of admin view to help you use Wild Apricot more efficiently. As well, we've overhauled the Settings screen and divided it into two screens: Global settings that apply to your entire Wild Apricot account, and Website settings that are specific to the setup of your Wild Apricot website. Finally, we've upgraded the remaining protocols that used TLS version 1.1 to version 1.2. Systems that use version 1.1 are flagged as less secure by security services like Trustwave. As always, we've fixed a number of bugs.

   In this update, we've restored the print icon (!), and separated the Website module from the rest of the Wild Apricot backend. A separate self-contained Website module will be faster and more stable, and allow us to quickly deploy improvements to the website builder without impacting the rest of the system.     This update includes a new feature and some UI fixes, as well as bug fixes. The new feature is webhooks, which allows external services, including those accessing Wild Apricot databases via API or Integromat, to get notified when certain changes occur, such as adding a new event or a new member.
