Our Problem is that we would like a search gadget on the Home Page but unless I am mistaken the access levels for this page do not work the same as others. The gadget itself does not provide restrictions so it is visible to the public.
With so many administrators, all of whom are volunteers we are finding it very difficult to track changes to Events and Contacts
We have similar requirements to Shelby .
1. We need ability to select a membership level that would enable creation of an event.
2. Ability to post these events automatically or select an option so that events need to be approved by an Admin before they are posted.
3. ability for the member to select events by "tag" and have them automatically load into their calendar .

The current offer is grossly inadequate .
We post up to 40 events each week but there is no means of backing those up and no easy way to re-create them
