1. Transparency of GIF file lost when inserted into the header?

   I'm trying to insert a GIF file to be used as our logo into the header. The filet has a transparent background.

   But its transparency seems to be lost when it's inserted into the header as the logo.

   Am I missing something here?

3. How to "fix" the bkground image in the css?

   Hi Everyone,

   I truly hope someone can help me. I have changed my groundground image in our site but cannot figure out how to lock/fix the background for scrolling the template. Other you see the image repleating.

   I tried the html code (bkground properties="fixed") which did not work. Here is the code I have w/out the fixed code:

   HTML > BODY { background: #fff url("/Resources/Pictures/image.jpg"); }

   Can anyone help me?

6. Customization not showing correctly

   Hi

   I've done a very minor customization on our site and I'm confident the css is correct (see below)

   and the html is below as well calling up the class NewsFlash

   and yet the <h4> is not performing as it should the words News Flash should be in blue and bigger font (see nadec.net).

   I know I could manually change with html to get the color and font size I want - but it annoys me that I can't work out why it isn't working correctly.

   As well if you look at the screenshot you can see that I have placed an Upcoming events box under the left nav bar. I've put into the file four <br> to try and force it down a bit but it doesn't seem to work - any reason for that?

   <p align="justify">Culminating this weekend by coming 2nd to Rozzie Ryan in two events, with scores in the very high 60s (and only half a % behind Rozzie in one test) ....  What makes it even more remarkable is that this was (I think) her 6th only ever Grand Prix she's ridden (certainly less than double digits) and she's had Mr P for just over six months!!!<br></p>

   <p>Could we have a Club Member to watch riding at this year's Olympics????  </p>

   Hi,

8. Gibberish when adding AreaUnderMenu.tpl

   I tried adding AreaUnderMenu.tpl and I got a lot of gibberish after adding it. All I had in the file was an <img> tag? Anyone have an idea what might cause this?

   The gadget titles cannot be linked using the gadget settings at this time. However, it may be possible to do this using Javascript code.

11. Adding text on unsubscribe page

    When I send an email to members there is an 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of the email. I asked if this could be removed but was told that due to spam regulations it cannot. Hence, since the unsubscribe link cannot be removed from emails, on the page where they confirm that they are unsubscribing from newsletters, can some text be added to inform users that by doing so they are not stopping their recurrent payments, nor cancelling their membership, but rather only stopping the delivery of newsletter emails? I just want to avoid confusion. How may I add text on that page where users confirm that they are unsubscribing? I was told by customer service that it requires Java Script (which I know nothing about) and to post my request on this forum.

    Hello. The forums were quite helpful when I found out how to use Global Javascript settings to change the free label on events.

    My new question is how to hide or change the message that appears "You can log in to auto-fill your contact information - or proceed with the registration without logging in."

    when a member enters their email and tries to sign up for an event. We don't want that message to appear for them to lo in to auto-fill their contact info, because we are not using their contact info to populate the event form and we just don't need them to get confused about having to retrieve their password to login.

    Can this also be hidden with a global javascript code? Thanks.

14. Admin View Link Missing

    Is there another way to log into admin view? Or is there a problem with WA right now. I added the codes listed here to get rid of the FREE label and also to try to add the "pay offline" button and I lost my admin view....was it me or is it WA???

15. Membership Application widget presents blank

    The membership application widget is being used on an external website. We have had it that way for a long time and it has worked fine. It was noticed today that the space is blank except for bottom scroll bar. Making adjustments to the widget css and iframe width did not fix it. Any other suggestions?

19. Proximity search of member location

    Can anyboby tell me if it is possible to serach members by post code and give results in the format of x mile from the location or postcode

    So my search term could be LU1 and it give results in 10 mile radius - and if possible display on google map.

20. Developer Guide listing major class and id elements?

    Is there a "developer bible" somewhere that lists the names of all classes and id elements for the major blocks on a page?

    Would certainly be easier than trying to figure out which of 50 nested divs has a particular attribute assigned to it!
