Change default widget behavior?
Hi there.
I moved all of our Wild Apricot site's pages into our main (non-WA) website via widget iframes, hoping we could have our users come to one site for all of their needs, but I have run into a problem with the discussion/blog/forum widget. What happens is that the widget for the discussion page loads each link to a topic, and from there each link to a post, in the same window (with the same url). So this would be a nice feature except that it doesn't allow us to give a link to a post in a newsletter or something like that, because the link to the post would take people to the Wild Apricot member site instead of to the copy of the post housed in the WA widget on our main site. Is there a way to create a unique widget/page url for each discussion group and each post, and have the discussion group page links open those widget links automatically?
The WA support person I asked this question of told me that this was indeed possible, but didn't tell me how to do it. Instead, they suggested I should post to this forum and see if a community member had some javascript solutions to offer. It does seem like WA should provide the answer instead of expecting their other paying subscribers to do their work for them for free, but if they're not going to, I will humbly ask someone to take the time out of their day to provide such code if they have it? All I can offer in return is my appreciation!

I did get one of the WA support people to give me a lead. It is a very helpful post from Stack Overflow. I am not super confident in my ability to get it working since I don't really delve into coding much beyond HTML/CSS, but I think I can see what they are doing here and I will sure give it a try. The post is at :
Hope it is helpful to you.
