The following items from one of the posts below would go a real long way to fulfilling our needs so that we do not have to goto Ning:
1. Include full text of posts in Immediate forum notification emails.
2. Include a link marked "To reply to this post ..." that goes to the post.
3. Tighten the subject line to feature the topic subject and remove unnecessary words.
4. When a user posts, automatically subscribe them to that topic with frequency Immediate.

The biggest improvement to serve our membership would be the functionality of using the forum as a listserve, as it currently exists/existed on the roadmap. We currently have to maintain a second database with electronic embers, and it requires manual entry and is never in sync. It would be really great to tie in forum access with membership, so that the forum is immediately added or removed as needed. We would also be able to create multiple forums for different topics, and have people subscribe themselves. This would be impossible to manage manually. I'm happy to discuss are beta test as needed. Thank you.

This is still my number one priority. I am disappointed that it has been delayed and taken off the roadmap. We really need this functionality to be able to service our members.

Our membership has been complaining, and they have been told that this expected enhancement would happen in July. This is really very important to us, and it would be great to see it back on the queue. If I know that this is happening, I would be more likely to pay for two years upfront as requested.

This issue is extremely important for us. The use of an external list serve is a clumsy solution, and creates extra work in maintenance. Having the email discussion available on the website as a forum would be an added benefit. I completely agree that people will not login to the website to read for a whole host of reasons - slow internet, mobile device, website blockage etc - in addition to taking the extra time. Other sites have this feature where it works wonderfully. I would hate to have go elsewhere to get this as there is some other really great stuff in Wild Apricot.
How soon can this be implemented?
