Despite rumors to the contrary, email is not dead. Email is very much how our members want to communicate with each other.
We have been looking for a website/membership database/payment system/email listserv solution for the past few months. We were going to go with Groupspaces, but they seem to be dying. We found Wild Apricot, and it seems like it will be around.
It would be a pain to have to keep up both a membership database in Wild Apricot and a Yahoo Groups email list. Part of the purpose of Wild Apricot is to have an all-in-one solution. I know that it can't really do everything, but email listserv seems basic.
I guess there is no way to "tie into" google groups in some way? To make use of a system that already exists?
