I am a UK user of your system - and I also administer another membership organiser, a UK-based system. It's not as sophisticated a system as WA, and I'd like to have an option to transition to a different system, but we have the option of GoCardless for UK members (as well as Stripe for overseas ones).

I don;t know whether you have the equivalent of direct debits in Canada and the USA. A Direct Debit is an authorisation for an organisation to request a payment from your bank account. People change bank accounts much less often than the change cards, and the details don't need to be updated every few years. Moreover GoCardless charges are about 50% of Stripe's.

For UK customers being able to take Direct Debits is a must, and unless an organisation is pretty big - thousands if not tens of thousands of members, when it can set up a direct debit system with its banks itself - the GoCardless platform is (as far as I know) the only option. GoCardless, by the way, doesn't do card payments, so we would still want to have the option of Stripe or similar for those.

I have only just come across this forum posting as I don't usually dip into the help centre. I think that if you were to poll your UK customers you'd find great support for integrating with GoCardless.
