Emails delivery delays for Yahoo email accounts
We have received several reports of email delivery problems to yahoo-based emails. Our investigation have established that Yahoo email servers are currently 'deferring' emails sent by Wild Apricot servers on behalf of our clients to yahoo-based emails. (In a nutshell this means that they are limiting the volume of emails we are able to send to them, which results in delays or eventual failure to deliver).
We have contacted Yahoo about this matter and provided them with the detailed information about the issue and we hope they will be able to react to this quickly.
Our technical team has also been reviewing our email logs and other aspects of our email system to see if our system might have been abused by email spammers - but we found no evidence of this at all.
So for the moment we mostly have to wait for Yahoo reaction - though we are also exploring possibilities to establish alternative email channels.
We will post updates on this thread as they become available.

Our tests have confirmed that emails are now delivered fine from our servers to Yahoo mailboxes.

We have received a reply from Yahoo and although it is a templated reply, it sounds like they have made the appropriate adjustments to properly handle email from our servers, quoting:
"... While we cannot fully exempt your mail server from our SpamGuard technology, we have however, made appropriate changes to this IP address in our database. This should help with delivering mail to the appropriate Yahoo! folders. ..."
We will do some testing to confirm this but it sounds like the problem should be resolved now.
