We need to add a photo profile to a contact page and remove some legacy data and fields on the page. It seems to be in a gadget but can't edit the code?

It sounds like those elements are managed through a gadget or template, so direct editing might be restricted. You may need to check the page settings or switch to a different gadget where custom fields (like profile photos) can be adjusted.
I’ve seen similar limitations while exploring edits on a delta executor website: https://deltaexecutor.org/ where some sections required tweaking the layout settings instead of direct code changes.
