Cancel Registration API
We need to be able to cancel registrations via the API. The only option currently is to delete the registration, which is far from ideal since there is no longer any record of the registration in WA, and no way to restore the registration manually.

The proposed solution is for non-admins. We need to prevent non-admins from canceling their own registrations, but we need an API for admins to cancel registrations. Is this possible?

In addition, using the API, I cannot see if a member or admin has cancelled a registration. We need to have the Payment State field included in the eventregistrations query.

No, this is not the same. The other is about modifying the setting for registrants to cancel their own event registration through the API. This one is about actually cancelling the registration through the API. Currently we can create, modify, or delete a registration, but cancelling is not possible through the API. We do not want to delete registrations because we need to keep the record of it.
