Network connectivity problems evening of Sat Oct 1st 2011
Around 5:30 pm EST today our monitoring systems have noticed problems with network connectivity to our servers (intermittent routing problems).
This meant that Wild Apricot websites would take long time to load - or even not load at all.
We have immediately contacted our data center provider, they confirmed the problem and they were already working on it.
As of now, at 8:30 pm EST it looks like like normal connectivity has been restored.
Depending on a server and your location, our monitoring systems indicate downtime between 40-60 minutes.
We apologize for the inconvenience and will be investigating the cause to prevent this reoccurring.

Here's a message we received from our data center provider today:

Beginning October 1st, 2011 at 6:30 PM EST, and lasting intermittently until 9:00 PM EST, some customers may have experienced intermittent connectivity issues. The connectivity issues were a result of an issue we had with malicious traffic causing a flood of bandwidth over our Level3 internet provider and slowing users ability to connect to their sites/systems on our network.
We have addressed this issue with our providers and have put the necessary blocks in place to prevent reoccurance of this issue.
While some traffic did continue to route during this event, many customers may have experienced delayed response times and errors.
