A major update of Wild Apricot – Version 5.9 – is scheduled for Tuesday, December 6th, beginning at 2:30 am (EST). Wild Apricot sites may be inaccessible for up to 30 minutes.

This update includes new features and enhancements to existing features, as well as a number of bug fixes. The changes include:

• Void invoices rather than delete them
• Link slideshow images to separate destinations
• Display captions along the bottom of slideshow images
• Redesigned email drafts screen
• Exit menu for exiting the email wizard
• Email templates now grouped by type: Saved, Themed, Basic
• Check in event guests separately from their hosts
• New background image options: Fill, Cover, Scale by height, Scale by width
• New website theme: Building Blocks
• New and enhanced API calls

Among the bug fixes are various email and event issues.
