   Molly, I have seen LinkedIn change their API for pulling profile data ove the past years. They have had difficulty with security using their current methods. I have seen sign in/sign up but I have noticed LinkedIn is more protective of their data (profile data). From a competitive/strategic POV it doesn't help LinkedIn to let us pull out all the data to make "another" place for members to socialize. They don't really want that to happen.
