    Know this is an old thread, but an easy and bulletproof system for using @font-face is through Google Web Fonts. Selection is decent, but limited. http://www.google.com/webfonts

    I used the @import method and it was crazy simple. You also get the benefit of Google's co-location services, so you should get less FoUT issues.
