Change widget width Fiesta theme
I have tried both versions of the code listed on the WA help page to change the widget width, but it is not working. I am embedding a widget from one WA site to another. It works, but I am getting scroll bars and can see some of the background of the main site.
The main site theme is Fiesta. The theme for the second site (where I am placing the widget) is Bookshelf.
Any help would be appreciated.

Lightbox functionality?
Has anyone implements lightbox functionality on a Wild Apricot website? Our existing AMS has a lightbox capability that I am "using" in our pages to pop a video. I don't need to do it exactly the same way, but when I try to use an embed code for a video into a Content or Custom HTML gadget, only a black box is shown. I can use a link href, but that pops a window or tab and I prefer not to do that.
I'm sure others have displayed videos. BTW, this is not Youtube, Vimeo, etc. The embed code uses…

Login Button Link Color
Hi All,
I don't know CSS and there's one thing I want to change on my site: the font color in the login button gadget. I feel like I should be able to do this with the advanced settings in the gadget but I don't know how! I've read all the KB articles on customizing with CSS, customizing gadgets, etc and understanding CSS is a prerequisite.
Many thanks.
(the login button link colors are dark blue and disappear into the background image, I want them to be white)

Looking for someone to convert our site
Our site, www.foresthillsindy.org is old and ugly! I don't have time to play with it and would love for someone to convert it to the new Skyline theme. If you're interested please post here or email me at adam@adamgibson.com.
Thanks!

Random Background images via PHP
Hello,
I'm using the Bookshelf Theme, but have applied a fixed background image via the CSS
body {
background-image: url(/resources/Theme/6.jpg);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-attachment: fixed;
}My goal now is to have a different background every time the page loads. Does anybody know how this can be done with WildApricot?
I tried to use the following PHP image rotator solution, but couldn't get it to work:
http://sonspring.com/journal/easy-random-css-backgrounds
http://alistapart.com/article/randomizer
Whenever I upload the .php file, it gives me the error that the file is not supported. I tried to upload it as as .txt file and change it to .php, but that…

From WordPress To Wild Apricot
Migration of content, images, member data never really proves to be a big challenge - unless it is a lot of it or complex bundles, etc... but migrating a look and feel and marching it on WA is no easy task. The customer always find a few subtle little things that he wants and there begins the challenge.
We are proud to announce the migration of Rising Harvest Farm http://risingharvestfarms.org to WA.
http://risingharvestfarms.org/ Check it out.

Shifting to Responsive Design from older themes
I am happy to hear (from the most recent newsletter) that WA is shifting all its designs to "Responsive Designs". This is a great advancement. I would like to receive a little bit more detail on how it will work out for those who have a "Non-Responsive Design" from the older themes (I have the "Clean Lines" theme by the way).
Will there be an CSS overhaul in the background and then it will be adapted to the parent theme? I have about 6000 lines of CSS code in the "user.css" file. For me it is necessary to know when…

Visual Site Update
First, I am not a web designer, I am asking this question for a web designer who will be working with us in a few months to do a major visual update to the look of our site, which is currently on Wild Ap.
While our web designer is updating/redoing our current site will we need to have a parallel site so that our current site is still usable for our members?
Has anyone redone their website from WA to WA? If so, any advice?
Thank you in advance for your time and knowledge!

Hiding email address
I would like to know if this is possible. This is how the site is set up. We have 2 member levels. Trial members are unpaid and valid for 30 days. Premium members are paid and valid for 6 or 12 months.
When trial members are viewing profiles we don't want them to see anyones email address or send message contact form. When premium members are viewing profiles we want them to be able to see email addresses and send message contact form.0 votes -
Picture Size not controlled in email
On my predefined templates for events, I have included some images. I use the width="xx%" attribute to make the images scale for the size of display upon which the email is viewed. However, when the email is actually viewed and printed in an email handler such as outlook, I will have an image take over "control" and display at an inappropriate size. As an aside, can the maximum width of the body of the email be "hard set" in pixels?
Here is the Template Layout as designed:

Login box in Business Casual theme
Hello everyone, Recently some of our users pointed out that our Business Casual theme login box behaves strange in placeholders with width less than 530px. When in editor and putting log-in box in to narrow placeholder it will shrink it's width to placeholder (messing with its template in the process), but after "save changes" button is pressed it comes back to it's set minimum size of 530px (without it it does not look good). This particular problem can be solved with workarounds: 1) To make log-in box look in editor exactly as it will be on public you can add…

Membership Application widget presents blank
The membership application widget is being used on an external website. We have had it that way for a long time and it has worked fine. It was noticed today that the space is blank except for bottom scroll bar. Making adjustments to the widget css and iframe width did not fix it. Any other suggestions?

Populate slideshow with 5 random images from directory
I've been searching for a clean way to get 5 random images from an images folder and use them in a slideshow.
Normally I would just use PHP to access the directory and add the file names to an array and then use JavaScript to randomly add them to the slider, but this doesn't seem to be an option in Wild Apricot.
Is there a reliable work around?

Need to hyperlink my slides
I need to hyperlink my slides.
I have wow slider, not NIVO. Anyone using wow slider?
The program has a publish option for word press that I thought might work if I followed the WA instruction for NIVO but it's pretty different and I can't figure it out.
