An error occurred while saving the comment Alex Sirota commentedAnother idea for this request - allow limiting the # of members per page to show rather than defaulting to 50 for long lists and 10 for shorter ones. Also allow a member search ONLY without showing any members to start with. That way it's more of a member directory search engine rather than a directory.

An error occurred while saving the comment Alex Sirota commentedNewPath Consulting now has a custom mobile app solution that is totally customizable and runs on Android and iOS. Have a look at https://newpathconsulting.com/wamm
An error occurred while saving the comment Alex Sirota commentedBy the way unless you are an app developer and pay 99 per year to Apple you cannot change the icon or name of an app dynamically. It is against the terms of the Apple App Store.
An error occurred while saving the comment Alex Sirota commentedIt is possible to use the shortcuts app to attach a custom icon to the Wild Apricot member app.
See the attached Debbie Harry icon with a custom name linked to the members app via shortcuts app in iOS. Unfortunately this has to be done by each member so it’s not ideal but instructions could be made. A crap workaround but still a workaround.

An error occurred while saving the comment Alex Sirota commentedOne thing I can recommend is if you need someone to look at content throughout the system but not make changes use the Read Only role. For many this is good enough to make decisions as exports can be made. Once things are running there usually is no need to make changes at all, so if you cannot abide by allowing module administrators to have access to make changes, then just switch them to full admin- read only. It works great!

Planned to be fixed in upcoming 7.26 release (beginning of summer)
Alex Sirota supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Alex Sirota commentedThese settings continue to be changed to prevent cross-site tracking by default. By next year Chrome will set 3rd party cookies to off by default and then we will have even more people having issues with frames. And Microsoft Edge is using Chromium engine too see with Chrome 90 even more people on Windows will inherit these issues with time.
Here are the settings to reactivate 3rd party cookies in Chrome:
https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647#zippy=%2Callow-or-block-cookies
Here are the settings for different versions of iOS
https://support.apple.com/en-ca/guide/iphone/iphb01fc3c85/iosAnd here are settings for macOS
https://support.apple.com/en-ca/guide/safari/sfri40732/macAt some point the default behaviour will be no 3rd party cookies and the iframe widgets will start to fail in a wider way across many more machines.
For now you must inform your members to check their settings to make sure 3rd party cookies/cross-site tracking is TURNED ON!

An error occurred while saving the comment Alex Sirota commentedWith Integromat it is possible to import invoices and payments from external systems. Have a look https://www.newpathconsulting.com/integromat.html
An error occurred while saving the comment Alex Sirota commentedWe also have a customer who is transitioning off Salesforce.com and has financial transactions stored there. They can export this data in a simple CSV file. Even a mandatory format for donations import would be nice since we can transform the data to fit Wild Apricot's requirements in Excel before import.
Alterntively opening the API to support financial transactions would be helpful.
In the end this is about how much data there is to import. Clerically speaking, if there are only a few hundred this can be done manually using the backend UI. If there are a few thousands to tens of thousand it becomes quite a problem.
I have thought about a workaround that involves storing historical transaction data as part of the contact record but this really is the worst case scenario.

An error occurred while saving the comment Alex Sirota commentedWe have built a new scenario in Integromat to support tax break our and much more. See https://waxm.newpathconsulting.com/waqm/ for more details.
An error occurred while saving the comment Alex Sirota commentedThe ideal situation would be to expand the list of accounts and add a liability account called Taxes which could export the taxes assessed on each invoice.
There is a way to create such an account in Quickbooks
They are liability accounts because the funds collected here have to be "paid back" (minus any eligible sales taxes paid out on expenses) to the government and thus are a liability.

I'm happy to say that we have started working on providing prebaked PDF of all invoices and include them into our emails.
Couple of details about how we designed it:
- it will be a link to download pdf of invoice available throughout the product (including emails sent to contacts)
- as of now it will be static PDF, but later on we plan on adding capability to edit these PDFs as well
An error occurred while saving the comment Alex Sirota commentedA quick note for people who think PDFs are secure. They are just as easily changeable as emails are. In fact even easier unless the PDF is digitally signed by your organization.
PDFs would be nice to have but they are not more secure unless extra work is done to make them secure. This is not something you get for free in acrobat.

An error occurred while saving the comment Alex Sirota commentedThere is a basic workaround: use separate events for different registration forms. That way you will have an event for vendors and one for attendees for example.
An error occurred while saving the comment Alex Sirota commentedAnother interesting request we have had to expand registration types: Allow a common field or membership field to "drive" which registration type is preselected. So if there is a common field call "Occuption" and it is a dropdown list, it could drive the preselected registration type by the same name. That way you could specify which registration type of selected automatically based on this field. If there is no exact match then the registration types are all shown. Otherwise if there is a match (case insentitive of course) the common/membership field can automatically select the right registration type. This can be useful when assigning registrants to a specific registration type only available to them without needing to set access control. It's sort of a second level of access control based on the membership profile outside of Membership Level or Group.
