E-Way integration for Recurring payments in Aus, NZ and UK
E-Way is an EXTREMELY competitive payment gateway that allows multiple currency purchases, NEXT day payment into your account and takes recurring payments (what you need for memberships).
PayPal is our only option at present - it's unreliable and expensive amongst other things.
I don't want to use PayPal - and I want to use WA - as a customer, you know what your business needs and being dictated to about suppliers/gateways you can use seems strange and out of step with the rest of the WA system - WA seems to have been designed to work flexibly for so many different types of businesses.
I look forward to having some better southern hemisphere billing choices in the near future.
Adding a new gateway doesn’t align with our current focus for the product.
Supporting each payment systems takes time and resources away from our development and support teams to provide the better, more reliable service.

Are there any plans to integrate eWay? This could also be a deal breaker for me.

You need to get eway, for all the reasons listed.
We lead the use of technology for membership, and have 100's of club's and NFP's making contact every year. The main reason they do not go with WA is that the is limited gateway providers and particularly no eway.
Its is likely we will be moving to another product once our subscription runs out.
I talk to lots of non profits and clubs as thI have WA for 2 years now, but we need a nother gateway besides paypal.

We do support a number of payment systems, not just PayPal - see http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Online+payments#Onlinepayments-Supportedpaymentsystems
Each additional payment system requires analysis, development and through testing (payments are very delicate area, no bugs can be tolerated here). This is why we have to somehow prioritize them and implement in order of priority - and this mostly goes from a number of different people commenting in a wishlist forum.
I would be curious to hear other people comments on this payment system.

In fact, billing was so important, we have chosen to go with a competitor over WA. We are now paying 3 x as much in the short term but also avoid additional headaches and charges associated with PayPal, have a cart that integrate without an additional cost and we have the freedom to choose from a variety of gateways that meet our needs.
Thought you'd like the feedback as I was informed that further integrations would only be made with feedback.
