It would be nice to be able to save a Wild Apricot email to a word document.

We use Wild Apricot for our Women's Caucus initiative at a large university in Virginia. Sometimes we require printed materials to share our accomplishments and/or recruit new members at events. It's extremely inconvenient to create content in Wild Apricot and then recreate it in Word or as a PDF so you can print it and/or send as an attachment to non-members.

Years later and we still need this functionality. This is a critical function that must be brought to the platform ASAP. Quite frankly, Please add this feature as we have been needing this for years now and while workarounds to download the PDF ruin all formating.

My newsletter content is sometimes part of grant applications or acquittal processes. The ability to save it as a PDF would make life MUCH easier when it came time to do a lot of arts funding paperwork.

Please add this feature. We offer promotional e-blasts and this would be helpful to share sample copies as attachments when communicating.

Wow, this email thread goes way back. Has it been resolved? Is there a way to do this that I'm missing?

As the newsletter is created within the system; i.e., in the new email editor, there really ought to be a way WITHIN THE SYSTEM to LINK to the completed email from a page in the website.

I create an e-newsletter each week and would like to be able to publish the e-newsletter on the website without having to recreate it.

This is my workaround:

1. If you have Outlook, open your newsletter email. Outlook usually prevents the pictures from downloading and has a bar at the top of the email to click to download the pictures, and also offers the option to view the email in a browser. Click that link to view the email in a browser window.
2. In the browser window, press control+P to print, choose Microsoft print-to-pdf.
3. You may have to go through the print options to remove page numbers and url that are automatically applied in the pdf document.
4. Open the pdf file, and using the snipping tool, capture a jpg image of the first page of the newsletter.
5. Upload the pdf file of the newsletter to the website's files.
6. On the association's website, add the jpg of the first page of the newsletter to the site page where you want newsletters displayed, and link the jpg image to the pdf file, so that when a user clicks on the jpg image, the entire newsletter pdf will appear.

This is what I am trying to figure out right now. Would love to be able to share our emailed newsletters via social media.

I would like to be able to convert my email to PDF also. I send out a monthly new member welcome letter from our president and want to include a link to the most recent newsletter. I also want those who are not members to be able to view our most recent newsletter to see what activities are currently going on with the club. In addition, some current members can't find the email containing their newsletter & it's easier to send them a PDF file than logging in and sending a single email via WA.

It would be so nice if there was an easy way to save a copy of any email templates/email blasts as a .pdf. Too many steps now to do.

I'll throw my hat into this ring. I have over 10 years of club newsletters stored on my local hard drive and also stored on a Google Drive for our Club members (all in .pdf format). I link the Google Drive folder to all of our past newsletter on a page in WA. In WA, I have to manually create a .pdf file by "printing" the monthly email blast newsletters. The links in the "printed" version don't always work. I'd like an option to create a fully featured .pdf from our monthly newsletter blasts created by templates in WA. It would be so much easier and cleaner to just create a .pdf file from the WA newsletter.

We have some members who don't have email addresses and would like to be able to send them hard copies of the e-newsletters that we send to those who do have email addresses. We also want to add a PDF copy of each e-newsletter to a newsletter archive on our website. However, I have not found a way to create a PDF or Word Doc of them. When I try to copy and paste into Word, the formatting doesn't transfer. Please help by making this possible and easy!

Yes, a "print to PDF" function does not work well for newsletters-- the graphics look distorted and the format does not look very clean. Please offer a "save to PDF" version of membership emails.

Can you explain why you need this? What is the scenario behind that?

It would be great to have an extra button/function in the event email announcement to export a version to pdf.

Copy and paste does not work well if you have tables and different formats in the email content.
