Editing existing or creating new macros for invoice template
Hello,
I need to create or edit an invoice macro in Wild Apricot and am unable to do so. I've searched in the application as well as online for how to do this, with no solutions that I can see. It is not user-friendly to not allow editing of existing or adding new macros.4 votes -
Email - add exclude segment option (also in Advanced Search)
I would love to see an option when preparing to send emails for me to include several groups/saved searches (like it is currently) but to ADD a EXCLUDE option for to remove other groups from that email. For example, I want to send several donation solicitations. But I DON'T want to include people who recently made a donation or perhaps a group of people. So when WA populates to who it is being sent to, it would take my recipients (for example 100 people multiple saved search or member levels) and then remove or not include people who fall into…

emoji
Would love to be able to insert emojis into emails. I'm working on a mac laptop and when I use the shortcut to pull up my emojis, it doesn't even come up if I'm on the WA screen.

cc email
I would like to be able to cc member emails to their secondary email selectively. Currently I have to make it a global change. I have some members who would like their spouse to also get our emails as well but most do not.

Email Column Padding
The default padding for column widgets in an email is set to 20. Doesn't matter how many columns there are. I would like a way to change the default.

Email editor, Linking to files and images
The new image gadget is missing the ability to create a new folder. I have to exit the email editor, go to Files, create a Folder, go back to the email. VERY inconvenient.

Dump the new email editor
Dump the new email editor and go back to the legacy editor so the event emails use the same editor as the email service. The new email editor is HORRIBLE. It is completely inflexible from a design standpoint, and worthless. Another option would be to give your users a choice of which editor to use if you think the new one is so great.

Email addresses to confirm changes
Please let us test emails to emails other than the default - several of us work on changes and we always have to wait until the default email addressee gets back to us.

Event email customizarion
When only the event date is specified, i.e. no event start time, the current "When" line is :
"When: 23 Dec 2020 , EST"
Different format is needed depending on the event information filled in i.e. with or without start time, end date and end time.
I require to insert a series of "if" statement to determine the event information provided and insert the appropriate data on the "When" line without superfluous blank characters.
Having the capability to assign the output of a macro such as "{Event Date}" to a javascript variable would allow me to resolve this and similar…1 vote -
Multiple Newsletters with independent unsubscribes
I run an org that is trying to build a series of more specific e-mails that are regional. I want to be able to have people pick which newsletters they want without unsubscribing to all newsletters. If someone wants just the regional e-mail, they should be able to pick that. If they don't want the regional newsletter but want the broader newsletter, they should be able to pick that too.

HTML
1) Bring back the HTML button in the toolbar at the top of the e-mail editor. Having to delete the default text box and add the HTML widget seems pretty lame to me.
2) Bring in the ability to double-click on the e-mail text when you come back to edit an e-mail. Having to go over to the right and click on the button to change the HTML code isn’t very intuitive.
3) Wrap the text in the HTML editor window.

Ability to send emails to group participants without being Admin
ability for group members to send emails to group participants without having to be an ADMIN. Right now members can click the email link of individuals and send emails to one member at a time from their iphone or other device. It would be great if they could do the same thing to group participants. We have over 60 groups. Many of them meet weekly. They would like a simple way to coordinate activities. Right now, I have 60+ Admins, just so that they can send an email to their group. Even ability to export the email addresses of all…

Bring HTML Editing Back to Emails
Please bring HTML editing back to email creation, and don't block it from any other parts of site creation. It's so much easier to craft the appropriate look for our emails if I can go into HTML to make adjustments, rather than having to exclusively use your imprecise WYSIWYG editor.

Returned emails should be simple forwards or go to manually selected address (not as .EML)
It would be great if WA did not use the EML attachment for returned emails. Could I suggest either:
- Enabling a simple forwarding system (rather than EML as attachment) and also having a log of those system emails in Wild Apricot.
OR (better)
- Allow clients to change the reply-to email address on system emails so that replies and bounces go direct to a nominated admin address instead of the wildapricot.com address.

List-Unsubscribe
Some members receive our mail blasts but cannot find them as they automatically go to their spam folder. Using tools like mail-tester.com we are improving what we can in order to reduce the probability of spam classification.
One change that comes recommended is to have a List-Unsubscribe header included in the mail. This is not something we can add, so we're wondering if Wild Apricot could add this header to all mail that already have the {Unsubscribe_Url} macro.

Excluded Email Recipients
When an email is sent to members, there is a number of emails that are excluded because of being disabled or opt out, etc. Please make the ability to see a list of these names so that we can correct any mistakes.
