1. WA and headers with two domains

   I have http://carbonvalleychamber.com as WA domain and all is well there. Chamber Master has some sub-domains there at http://business.carbonvalley.com as well. I am making style changes, mainly a new header image, for http://carbonvalleychamber.com but can't make changes to Chamber Master pages. I have tried all of the suggestions I have found on WA tutorials and they dont work. Do I have to get access to those business.chamber pages from Chamber Master only? I do have access to the Chamber Master account but cant find the pages. All I want is the same header image at http://carbonvalleychamber.com/home to be on every page.

2. Embedding custom script on page

   I'm having trouble figuring out where to put the following parts of the script on the page. I assume I need a Custom HTML gadget as well as placing parts into the Raw Headers.

   The total script is:

4. Responsive slideshow with automatic width/height

   I'm experimenting with the WA slideshow gadget, but the problem I'm having seems to be with the choices for the sizing. It seems I can only choose from fixed layouts (16:9, 3:4, 1:1, or a fixed height). This works ok for camera photos that actually are in those aspect ratios but not so good for custom images like banners and header images which may have different aspect ratios such as being very long and rectangular (e.g., a 10:1 aspect ratio). Choosing the "Landscape 16:9" option displays the entire banner image, but it also puts a lot of whitespace above and below the image (to fit it into the 16:9 box) that is not acceptable.

   What I'd like is:

   • I want the slideshow to be responsive so it shows up properly on various devices,

   • I don't want the images to get cropped in any direction as seems to happen with the "Fit image to slideshow area" option,

   • I want the containing box to fit the image, whatever the aspect ratio is, without adding unnecessary whitespace.

   If anyone has a solution for this, I'd greatly appreciate hearing it. Otherwise, I'd like to add this to the wishlist for the slideshow. Many of my clients would like to use the slideshow gadget for rotating banner ads or slideshows in their headers.

5. Change widget width for one instance

   I would like to change the widget width of this embedded event for this ONE page/site only. I do not want to change the default as explained here http://prbaflorida.org/events/webinars . I only need to change it so it fits within this Joomla sites page width where I am embedding it. I have tried adjusting the width from the default widget script as shown below but it does not really work.Can I make it fit and lose the scrollbars? Thank you in advance for your help.

8. Can I just pay someone to build a slideshow gadget for me?

   I would like a slideshow on my home page where each image is hyperlinked to a certain page. I looked up the the Nivo slider instructions and it is over my head. It will take me days to figure it out.

9. Aesthetic request -- Directory gadget display

   On the directory gadget, if you use the simple filters they are right smack up against the search box which appears after the filters. There isn't any space between the two and it looks very cramped. Can you add a little margin between them?

12. Gadget within HTML gadget

    Is it possibly embed a Wild Apricot gadget inside the custom HTML gadget. I have a header coded with custom html, but I would like to put a login link there, a search box etc. Is there a list of functions to call specific gadgets within html?

    I've tried some of the proposed rss feed widgets offered in other posts, but none of them seem to work very well in WA.

15. Proximity search of member location

    Can anyboby tell me if it is possible to serach members by post code and give results in the format of x mile from the location or postcode

    So my search term could be LU1 and it give results in 10 mile radius - and if possible display on google map.

16. Developer Guide listing major class and id elements?

    Is there a "developer bible" somewhere that lists the names of all classes and id elements for the major blocks on a page?

    Would certainly be easier than trying to figure out which of 50 nested divs has a particular attribute assigned to it!

17. Customizing the Event List Gadget?

    Is there any way to get in there, change the order of the items that display, and assign CSS classes to each individual element?

    Would like to get THIS:

19. Menu title hover yellow box description pop up

    For anyone having the issue of a yellow box appearing when hovering over a menu title (See screenshot)

    WildApricot was very helpful in providing this solution:

    To remove this requires theme override (If unfamiliar with theme override, use at own risk! or contact a WA partner) (http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Theme+overrides)

    1. Download your website original theme file.

    2. Find the item.tpl file in gadgets/menu.horizontal folder (or gadgets/menu.vertical for vertical menus)

    3. In this file remove the title="<$it.Title$>" in <a href="<$it.Url$>" title="<$it.Title$>"> line.

    4. Save and upload this file to the appropriate folder in your wildapricot file system.

    Remember to enable Theme Overrides

    Enjoy!

20. Navigation Items

    Hi,

    Is there a way that I can assign each of the navigation items a different css class? They are all the <div class="item"> and I wanted to have a different background color on each navigation tab. I know how to control the css, just not sure how to get a specific class listed in the html.
