  2. Get Designing Tips

I can take a look at it today after I get home and get a second, brighter one (maybe with more lights too, current concept has 3 small, added lights, some faint spores, and a faint charger in the background). I might tone back the blur a bit as well. The orange spore clouds are pretty cool and I'll try to get a couple more unique shots of them. I used the same base cloud for both, and one of them is barely visible because of the blurring and color overlay. I've got a few ideas for a second version,…

  3. Recommend a good responsive theme

I'm changing a site from an old theme to a Wild Apricot responsive theme. I'm testing 'Whiteboard Maya Blue'. It is responsive, but the mobile view is not as usable as I'd hoped. The menu drop down has tricky spacing for touch and the font sizing is not well-optimised for mobile.

Before I make my own fixes, I wonder if anyone can recommend a better starter responsive theme?

    Thanks

  7. Shading every other directory row

    Hi,

Is there a way to shade every other directory row? For example, a gray bar shows up when one rolls over a listing, but I'd like every other row to be gray/white, and then change the roll over color to something else.

    This is the page: https://ncn.wildapricot.org/directory

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

  10. Key Features Of a Successful Wild Apricot Website

Key Features Of a Successful Wild Apricot Website

For over 8 years now we have been developing and designing Wild Apricot websites and themes. We want to share some insight, but first let me present you with some of the internal logic for us undertaking this approach:
    – We Love Wild Apricot users and their organizations
    – We prefer to work with the Wild Apricot Membership & Events CMS over all others
    – The level of care that goes into this platform is almost unheard of in this day and age of SaaS.

As I was saying, when we took…

  12. Hide Free label on membership application

We are looking to hide the "free" label, "subscription period" label, and "No Recurring Payments" label on the membership application gadget. Our members are finding the language off-putting.

I found the code to remove the free label from the event registration gadget but not for the membership application. Has somebody done this?

  15. switch icon set

I'd like to be able to switch icon sets for a given theme, or modify the existing set. I've selected one of the whiteboard themes and ended up modifying pretty much all the colors in the theme...but the icon set (https://bfc.wildapricot.org/BuiltTheme/whiteboard_maya_blue.v3.0/b667a45d/images/icon_set.png) is still that brown color. I'd much prefer a grayscale option, OR to be able to upload my own in the accent color of my choosing.

  19. How to change Menu font?

    Hi,

Can I get CSS help changing the font of Menu Horizontal in the White Space theme from the standard fonts to a Google Font?

  20. scrollbars

I have embedded several WA widgets in my WordPress website for a client. I've used the CSS suggested to redce the size of the widget, but I want to make the content fit my webpage. I've attached a screenshot of one instance at http://www.shrmwaco.com/meetings-and-events/upcoming-hotshrm-events/ . Can you help? Thank you so much!
