  1. Import to Quickbooks needs QB "item" entry mapped.

    When I do an export from the site to import to Quickbooks the invoice is created but is missing the "item" entry. I have had a conversation with Dmitry (tech support) on this and he ask that I post this to see if others want this feature. Doing the QB import doesn't do us any good if we don't have data mapped to the "item" in the invoice. The answer back from Dmitry was "The way QuickBooks import works, if it does not find the matching item, it creates a new one. So we figured the risk of messing up…

    • Mandatory email in Bundle Memberships

      When a person is added to a bundle membership, I want to make it mandatory that there be an email address.

      Without the email address, I see no way for that person to be able to logon.

      I understand that it used to be mandatory and that the decision was made to change that.

      If nothing else, the end user/site admin should have the option to make it mandatory.

      • Order forum summary other than alphabetical

        When using multiple forums, the forums are listed in the summary in alphabetical order. I would like my discussion forum users to see the forums in an order that I choose, not alphabetical. I would also like to leave the forum names as is, instead of re-naming with a prefix to get the correct order.

        For example, I would like my users to see the "Rules" forum at the top of the forum summary and my "Everything Else" forum to appear at the bottom. Currently they appear within my forum summary where "R" and "E" fall in the alphabet.

          We're looking for the ability to automatically update twitter any time someone posts an entry to the blog.

          Seems Twitter already has some basic API's for this.

            Many member accounts need a seperate billing email to get the renewal notices and event invoices. Is there someway to add a seperate field for billing contact name and email? Or a second person who gets notified of invoices and financial notices?

            • Gadget to display member images (logos/pictures)

              I would like to be able to insert a widget-like window on any page, or in the header/footer area, that would scroll the logo images from member records.

              The window would simply scroll the logos as links to the member. Ideally, administrators could provide a title for the box (ie "Our Members" etc.). Adding search capabilities would allow us to create different scolling sets as well (ie one box could be all members, another could be based on location - state, province, city etc.)

              • Event Attendees Self Check-in capability

                We would like the capability to create a simple webpage that allows event attendees to enter their email address, or any other field we define (i.e., Member ID). System finds the event registration for that contact and checks them in to the event. This self-serve check-in feature is available only if the attendee has paid the appropriate attendance fee.

                This would relieve work from our registration people at events. We would set up two or three computers at the registration table and allow attendees to check themselves into the event.

                • Emailing a subset of event registrants

                  I'd love to be able to email a subset of event registrants based on responses in registration fields. For example, emailing only those registrants who have indicated they'll be bringing a guest. In other words, allowing for some advanced email filters on an event page, similar to the advanced search filters. Thanks!

                    Hello Wonderful Apricots!

                    I have a request. Our events offer special prices for sponsoring tables of 8 and 10 guests respectively. The registration type allows users to manually enter a number of guests but many don't, but we need a get a proper head count. Currently, if someone purchases a table for 8, it only shows up as 1 guest on the list.

                    Is there a way for this to be hard coded into the Registration Type?

                    • Agreement/Contract Acceptance or Digital Signature

                      It would be great if there was some way to embed an agreement button (that would record a time stamp and IP address) or digital signature into emails so we can ensure that our members "sign" a membership contract each year. This is particularly important for annual renewals, since the renewal process is much different than the initial application process.

                      Alternatively, if there were some way to create an online contract that included an agreement or digital signature ability, that would be great too.

                      Currently, the terms and conditions field doesn't allow you to customize the language to each member.

                        Bulk event management (create/delete/modify) bulk delete can be done in the UI via checkboxes on the event list bulk create/modify could be based off spreadsheet export/import like we can do with contacts The current functionality is a serious impediment for us trying to add multiple events per week for several months ahead.

                        • Chart of Accounts export to QuickBooks

                          An additional level of detail beyond “class” or replacing "class" that could associate with the Chart of account codes set up in quickbooks would save time and errors by identifying income categories automatically. I assign a general ledger account code to each invoice/payment to coordinate with the bookkeeper in the notes field that must be read manually. Could a separate field be available that QB would recognize on import.

                          • Tracking and setting a termination date for unpaid event registrations

                            I would love to see a feature that would allow you to set an unpaid registration cancellation date. For instance, "(Member) your event registration will be cancelled if left unpaid more than ( _) days." For an employee to keep track of this is a headache. For your system to keep track of this is it's probably a few lines of new code.

                              Currently the three options for Guests of a registration are: For guest registrations Only collect total number of guests Collect contact information for each guest Collect full registration form for each guest All of our events allow for guests from the same Company. The guests can choose a variety of options that do not have to be the same as the registrant. We don't need the full contact information again, and having to enter it is somewhat bothersome.                                 • multiple choice with extra cost - needs more mgmt options

                                  We would find "multiple choice with extra cost" much more useful if it had a few more features. We find we always need capacity and the ability to close a multiple choice option without deleting it. We hold an annual conference with many extra choices for social events and luncheons at extra costs. We run into WA problems for example when In the last days leading up to the event, we have to close some of the multiple choice items(caterer needs last head count), but we can still take general event registrations.                                     • Hide non-member registration types for members

                                      We set up a yearly event in which members and non members are invited to attend at different prices. I create different registration types and that all works fine. When a non member registers they only get the non-member registration types, that is good. But when an active member starts to register for the event they get both the member and non-member price options.

                                      Does anyone know a way to hide the non-member pricing from the logged-in members so they only get offered the member pricing? Am I missing a checkbox combination in setting up the Reg types?

                                        • Notify Administrator about attempted but failed Donations

                                          Unless I'm configured wrong I am not being notified when someone attempts, but ultimately fails,in making an online donation.

                                          They could fail either because their credit card does not go through properly or they simply close the PayPal page. Although the transaction shows up in Wild Apricot as a Pending Donation it would be great if I could also be notified by email like a pending payment event registration.

                                          I always follow-up with a phone call to these pending donations, but sometimes I miss them if I'm not emailed about it.
