Bulk invoice print/email
Would really like the ability to email and/or print all invoices returned by a filter. It's a lot of unnecessary work to have to open each invoice to send it.

add a visitors counter to our website
From time to time we receive questions at our support like "I want to add a visitors counter to our website. Telling a user: "Your are visitor number: #".
From design point of view and the current state of web development, visitors counters (or hit counters) are mostly considered as outdated, not used any more. But it still might be important for you and so I decided to create a wishlist thread to collect your opinions on that.
Please, share your thoughts!

Hide details in public event view
We want the public to be able to know the date and title of the event but we want to restrict all other details to members only. Is this possible?

PayPal Standard limitations on WA
PayPal now offers many new options on it's site. For example, a basic subscription can have a duration (12 months for example). For an extra fee they also offer Installment payments and automatic billing (which is quite different than subscriptions) which would be great for our sponsorships which have a high dollar value. But WA hasn't changed it's software to reflect these new options and allow us to utilize them.
Can these options, in full or part, be added through the code? I know PayPal has the ability to add them through API but I can't tell how to make it work with WA. (and don't simply tell me to add a separate paypal button which would add a ton of work for us!)
Having these features would solve SO many problems we have with payment plans as what we are offered now is not adequate for us or our customers.

Customize text in cursor hover on a menu item
Request: the ability to customize the text (perhaps a field on the page set up) that appears when your cursor hovers on a menu item.
Right now, the text defaults to a repeat of the page title.
Benefit: could use it to further explain what can be found on that page, making it faster for a user to navigate to where they want to go, perhaps result in fewer pages, cleaner look.

Importing: skip existing contacts
Would be very nice to have an option to ignore existing contacts when importing, rather than allowing records to be updated. So that only unrecognised end up being created as new contacts. This is important when importing from lists where the quality of personal information data might not be as good as what already pre-exists in the database. (Esp for people who are members).

UTC times in event gadget
We are an Australasian organisation and have events spanning many time zones. So when events are lsited in the gadget, sometimes they have times listed as "(UTC+13:00)", for example. This looks confusing, and we would prefer to simply have the date, and no times at all. There's no need for a start time in the gadget, especially when an event is weeks or months away.
I am told I can remove the date and time completely, but not just the time.
Please make it possible to remove the time and leave the date there.

Shopping Cart ability
I think it would be really useful if the website had a shopping cart feature similar to how Amazon allows you to build up your purchases and then just check out once.
My members find it frustraiting that they have to go to the membership area to renew their membership and check out. Then go back in to make a donation and then check out. Then go back in to register for their events. A lot of times they have to check out twice to cover registration and the add/ticketed events which means they have to then check out two more times.

Event organiser macro
It would be good to have a macro for event organiser. The event organiser is already identified for "reply to", and we would like to put a more personal sign off name at the bottom. A choice between <Event organiser full name> and <Event organiser first name> would be ideal.

Multi-currency
We have members in different countries (US, Canada, Europe, and beyond);
It would be helpful, if the system accepted multiple currencies (at least USD, CAD and Euro).

Ability to forward FYI e-mails to membership
I really love how easy Wild Apricot makes it to send out e-blasts to members or contacts, and we use it for club announcements and newsletters. However, I routinely run into a problem with trying to forward e-mails to our distribution lists.
Our organization often gets announcements from other groups advertising trainings and workshops that we would like to let our members know about. The problem is the only way I can figure out to send this information to our membership is to log into our account and set up an e-mail from the system, and this can be a very tedious process when what I really want to do is click "Forward" and get it out of my inbox. There is no way for me to forward an e-mail to the group at large.
I understand a group could very easily run into problems if just anyone could forward information to the group, but what if there were an e-mail inbox that admins or designated users could forward e-mails to (maybe one for all contacts and one for just members), and as long as it's coming from an admin's registered e-mail address, the system would know to forward it to the membership list. I'm not even concerned about how it handles images because our people are used to receiving forwarded e-mails where the image links are broken for a variety of reasons. It would be nice if it could also forward attachments, but the e-mail text and links are the most important items.

Multi-Session Events
Hello,
Both of our divisions host a number of events that actually occur over multiple time-space blocks. Much as, say, a college class would be organized, registering for one event actually entails being potentially scheduled into all of the subsequent sessions of the event on that schedule. A subset of these events are tournaments whereby not everyone signed up for the event will continue to the next session; in this case the event's sponsor or coordinator will want to adjust the attendees proceeding into a subsequent session. To complicate matters some multi-session events may have a single registration fee that covers all sessions, while others may have a registration fee associated with each individual session; even though a registrant is expected to attend one or more subsequent sessions we want to give him the option of paying for these sessions separately. On other hand, in the case of our convention, most of the events don't have a separate registration fee; the cost is effectively free as it is subsumed into the convention registration fee. Finally I am hoping that in the long run our members will be able to see their complete schedule when they are participating in our events.
I am hoping that you will be able to put options into events that allow for the above scenarios.
Thank you for your attention,
Scot McConnachie

Default registration form for events
In the same way that there are default announcement and reminder emails for events, it would be great to have the same for registration form. We have 12 to 14 very similar events during the summer and currently I am having to add additional fields to each event. In Version 5 with the ability to select contact fields, which is a great move, I will have to select the contact fields as well.

Datestamp internal notes
2014-07-08 11:43 It would be helpful to have the cursor start in the text input box when editing notes, so that any new entry appears above those before it, like this.
2014-07-08 11:40 Please can you add a facility to add a date and time stamp to the beginning of all new note entries, either automatically or using a shortcut key? Thanks.

Shopify Integration
Wondering if Shopify integration is on the table for the future. With Shopify's growing presence in the e-commerce space it seems to make perfect sense that Wild Apricot would integrate with the Shopify payments gateway...especially since Shopify is marketing to Associations, Not for Profits etc. and enticing them with special pricing.
Please consider integrating with Shopify payments. Thank you.

Location field for Events should have each piece of address on its own line
Please add two more field lines for event location!
Now, if we have a building, street, and city/state/zip--it is all in a run-on sentence!
Location should have each piece of information on its own line so attendees can easily and clearly read the location.
field line for building name
filed line for street
field line for cross street, or additional street info
field line for city/state/zipor else, give me ability to force a hard return in the location field so location lines can be separate.
thank you!

Add social sharing options into email announcements and other emails
WA should consider incorporating into the platform the ability to distribute social-media updates simultaneously with email 'newsletters' and other blasted communications. I envision the user programming into their social-media account information, and from the email-newsletter/communique-creation phase one would have the ability to add whichever social-media outlets they choose. From there, you would either send out the subject of the email and a link to the newsletter/communique as a default or it could be edited to fine-tune the blast to the different social-media outlets. Email newsletters/communiques could also have the ability to be 'Like'd or tweeted by readers, which would post to their wall or send a message referencing the subject line and linking to the newsletter/communique. Please reference Constant Contact's 'Simple Share' feature here http://search.constantcontact.com/services/index.jsp ...
I~ am hoping that is will be a new feature your developers can produce and find it would add more value to your service as it is extemely popular with Constant Contact. It saves time on my end in haveing to make seperate announcements using different plateforms to reach our potential members.

Tracking attendance using card swipe system
We are considering using WA to support our group, however we really need to account for attendance using a card swipe system. I am disappointed that this functionality is not currently available, and worse yet, does not even seem to be on the priority list. Seems pretty simple.

Check if a registrant is still a member by event start date - and if no, do not allow member price
when an event is created have the option to get member pricing based on:
a) Member status on date of registration for event
b) member status on date of event
or c) Both: member must be member at date of registration AND member on event date.
Currently only option "A" above is used, so if a member is a member in January, and registers for an even that is scheduled in May, and membership lapses in February, they still get member pricing because they are member on day of registration, and date of event is not used.

Allow to make common fields readonly
It would be very helpful to be able to add a common field which can be changed only by the administrator, but still be seen by non-members or members (depending on what options have been selected under common fields). This way a rating could be input by the administrator, without being accessable by the member, but still be viewable by anyone.
For example the admin adds a new common field called 'Ratings' - Options set at 'for administrator access/input only' - Others access set at 'Anybody'- this would allow the administrator to manually add a rating to a member as such:
Rating: 5/5 Star Rating (1 vote)
(Common field name: input by admin)
Is this possible at all???
