  1. Discount for Attending Multiple Events

    Hello!

    We have departments that would like to offer attendees discounts for registering for multiple events. Can you group the events so that when more than one is chosen, a discount is given? We think this would increase interest and attendance at our sessions.

  2. Calendar picker when schedule event emails

    When scheduling event emails, we have to provide a number of days before we want the email to go out. It was be more helpful to have a date picker so we don't have to count the number of days when we want to send out the email.

  3. Add option to exclude guests in limit count

    We want to create a events where we limit the number of teams, but not the number of total people.

    We have a regular ticket price and a discounted ticket price, so we set a limit on the total number of registrations, but currently this includes guests - we don't want to include guests in the limit count.

  4. Make number of places left visible on event summary

    Now that we have more control over the ability to limit the number of places available for registrations, it would be good to be able to display this information on the event page.

    Currently, you see how many places are left as part of the registration process (incidentally, I have had some people advise that this is somewhat confusing as its not clear that the number of places left are not including the current registration - so I have had people contact me not sure if they're registration was successful on account of it saying 0 places left while they…

  5. Photo album for each event

    I would like to have the ability to add photos to a past event. Or a future event, for that matter! Members would have the permissions to add photos to an event from that event page. So then anyone could view these photos by clicking on the link from the event calendar, and on the side or below, there would be an album (or slide show).

  6. Contact Self-Service Proof of Attendance Report

    A contact that is not a site administrator should be able to sign in, go to their member page where they can see their profile, privacy, email subscriptions, etc., and see a past events attended list. They should be able to print this page as proof of attendance. So a date range selection, so if I want to print only a certain range of events that would be possible.   7. Variable pricing for additional (i.e. "guest") registrations

    I would like to reiterate a request I have seen in various forms in other posts.

    There needs to be the option of selecting different prices for "guest" registrations. At most of our events the person registering online brings a guest. Sometimes this guest is also a member of our organization (at which point they should be allowed to choose the "member" rate) and sometimes they are not (so they should be able to choose the "guest" fee.)

    We have just moved from using Constant Contact's "Event Spot" as our event registration software and find WA lacking in this area.…

  8. Webinars via Wild Apricot

    Hello,

    I am Ryan Woroniecki and work on the board of APRA-MD. We host educational webinars for our members on a regular basis as well as bag meetings on site. It would be ideal to use WildApricot to integrate a webinar service such as GoTo Meeting, JoinMe, MeetNow, etc...

  9. Expense Reports for EVENTS

    I think I saw this mentioned in a different converstaion heading. I would love to be able to add expense reports to event reports. The whole move it over to excel isn't working well for me. We don't have quick books either.

    It would be nice to record who we wrote expense checks to from our membership and for what, like an invoice payment that we make to them and for what. Then

  10. Create a sign up sheet

    It would be very helpful if members were allowed to create sign up sheets for free events, such as the ones used on the "Sign-up Genius" website. Right now, one can create an event and have members register, which works for paid events, but if you are hosting a free event at your club and want members to sign-up to bring items and you want other members to view the sign up sheet in its entirety so that items are not duplicated, it is impossible.   11. Adding Widgets to Events

    Hello,

    Is it possible to be able to add the new Version 5 widgets to events.

    This would greatly help with:

    1. Being able to display a picture gallery or slideshow

    2. Showing the location of the event using the google map widget

    3. Adding social media like buttons so others can share the event with friends and family helping to gain more participants.

  13. UTC times in event gadget

    We are an Australasian organisation and have events spanning many time zones. So when events are lsited in the gadget, sometimes they have times listed as "(UTC+13:00)", for example. This looks confusing, and we would prefer to simply have the date, and no times at all. There's no need for a start time in the gadget, especially when an event is weeks or months away.

    I am told I can remove the date and time completely, but not just the time.

    Please make it possible to remove the time and leave the date there.

  14. Shopping Cart ability

    I think it would be really useful if the website had a shopping cart feature similar to how Amazon allows you to build up your purchases and then just check out once.

    My members find it frustraiting that they have to go to the membership area to renew their membership and check out. Then go back in to make a donation and then check out. Then go back in to register for their events. A lot of times they have to check out twice to cover registration and the add/ticketed events which means they have to then check out two…

    Both of our divisions host a number of events that actually occur over multiple time-space blocks. Much as, say, a college class would be organized, registering for one event actually entails being potentially scheduled into all of the subsequent sessions of the event on that schedule. A subset of these events are tournaments whereby not everyone signed up for the event will continue to the next session; in this case the event's sponsor or coordinator will want to adjust the attendees proceeding into a subsequent session.   16. Default registration form for events

    In the same way that there are default announcement and reminder emails for events, it would be great to have the same for registration form. We have 12 to 14 very similar events during the summer and currently I am having to add additional fields to each event. In Version 5 with the ability to select contact fields, which is a great move, I will have to select the contact fields as well.

  17. Location field for Events should have each piece of address on its own line

    Please add two more field lines for event location!

    Now, if we have a building, street, and city/state/zip--it is all in a run-on sentence!

    Location should have each piece of information on its own line so attendees can easily and clearly read the location.

    field line for building name
    filed line for street
    field line for cross street, or additional street info
    field line for city/state/zip

    or else, give me ability to force a hard return in the location field so location lines can be separate.

  18. Tracking attendance using card swipe system

    We are considering using WA to support our group, however we really need to account for attendance using a card swipe system. I am disappointed that this functionality is not currently available, and worse yet, does not even seem to be on the priority list. Seems pretty simple.

  19. Check if a registrant is still a member by event start date - and if no, do not allow member price

    when an event is created have the option to get member pricing based on:

    a) Member status on date of registration for event

    b) member status on date of event

    or c) Both: member must be member at date of registration AND member on event date.

    Currently only option "A" above is used, so if a member is a member in January, and registers for an even that is scheduled in May, and membership lapses in February, they still get member pricing because they are member on day of registration, and date of event is not used.

    Bulk event management (create/delete/modify) bulk delete can be done in the UI via checkboxes on the event list bulk create/modify could be based off spreadsheet export/import like we can do with contacts The current functionality is a serious impediment for us trying to add multiple events per week for several months ahead.
