  3. announcement

currently the 'default' event schedule email is to all contacts, with selectable options after that. It would be better if the 'default selection was members' with various options after that. for example diffent classes of members or other contacts.

Currently if you create an event that is intended for members or member classes only the email schedule defualt is all contacts, irrespective of who they are and what they may be a contact for.

Yes, we administrators should be checking, but an inadvertent email to members onl is more easily managed than an email to all contacts.

  4. Events with No RSVP Needed

I realize this may seem silly for an Event management website, but some of our Events are "open House" and we hold them every week, whether we have 2 people or 15. We don't need a Register or RSVP button on these events as they are always free. Is it possible to have "no RSVP needed" on the Simple Events options so that we can add the event to our calendar but people don't have to register?

  5. Event email sign up is confusing

Some of my members are understandably confused when going to register for an event.

At the first registration page ("Enter registrant email") they type in the registrant's email -- maybe an employee or a friend. But if that email is not an administrator or bundle, on the next page they won't see the member discount pricing.

This first page is not even needed if the member has already logged in. I therefore suggest skipping it, unless there has been no log in.

Or add some wording to the page such as "If you are a member, enter the email you…

  6. event flexibility

more flexibility with event emails, and with event set up. Allow registration levels to all be available until the same date instead of setting cutoff separately on every registration

  7. add post event email connected to Events

Customize the term "Bundle administrator" We call this liaison but we can't change the way it's expressed through Wild Apricot.

  9. Payment Method on Registrants page

It was so convenient when I could just glance at the registrants page and see what method each person used to pay for the event. I don't know why you got rid of this in the last update.

  10. Updates to Event Email Defaults change only those events using the default emails

It's great to be able to define default event emails for confirmation, pending registrations, and reminders. Most of our events use the defaults, but we have a few that do not. I want to be able to change the default emails and have that default applied to existing events that use default emails, but not applied to those events with modified emails.

  11. During registration pressing "enter" should automatically submit values

Particularly on the first screen during registration - the "Enter registrant email" screen asking for an email address - if I hit "enter" it should accept the email I've entered and proceed to the next step of the registration process. This is normal behavior and the current lack of this functionality is possibly also an accessibility issue. Thank you.

  12. Directions for Event Registration & Payment

Have a "How To Register/Help" tab or link containing step-by-step directions on successfully registering, paying (PayPal, credit card, check), & obtaining a payment receipt for the seminar/event listed on the Wild Apricot website.

We have our help.wildapricot.com for these purpose. The rest is up to particular customer of Wild Apricot – the directions, how to describe them, pics and text to use – are very contextual. You can create a special web page on your Wild Apricot web site describing the process and then providing link to the page on even details and registration page.

  13. event confirmation emails requiring payment

What we REALLY want is mandatory payment at the time of registration (yes, I voted on that)
As a stopgap, I would like an automated email to go out to a registrant who didn't complete payment letting them know that their registration will be cancelled within a certain time if they do not pay.
Currently registrants receive 3 emails - registration pending, registration confirmed and a receipt from Stripe. Ideally they would register and pay in one transaction and receive just one email from us - you're confirmed!
I could turn off the registration pending email, but then the folks…

  14. sort by registrant town/organization

It would be a great help to be able to sort by library name and by town. Registration payment checks from the towns do not always include the name(s) of the registrant(s).

  15. formatting event emails

The formatting of the event details in an event email [IE: announcement, reminder] is not consistent with how the event detail was formatted [IE: font type, size, colors]. Currently, event details convert to "text" format within the event email.

The event details converted to plain text in emails due to technical limitations related to email applications / clients.
We made some changes with email preview, now the macro on email preview substituted by data, so email template looks the same as it will send to recipients.

We decided to close this request.

  16. Copy/duplicate Registrants, Bulk Upload, Certificates, & Surveys :)

I would like to request that Wild Apricot be able to duplicate the participants off of an event because many of the times we have events that have the same group of people attending events throughout the year.
Also, it would be great if I could bulk upload participant information in Wild Apricot using an Excel spreadsheet. Say I contact a participating school that is attending an event and the secretary has an excel spreadsheet of the attendees. I would like to be able to bulk upload registrants.
Also a function in WA that would be able to send out…

Thanks a lot for the suggestions! But unfortunately, I have to close this particular wishlist item – too many ideas in one post. I’m sorry for this. To compensate, I have subscribed all who commented into existing ones (e.g. to bulk upload registrants) and created some new ones for particular ideas. You all should receive email notifications about it. Thanks again for your comments and I’m sorry for closing this one.

  17. Role email addresses & committee calendars

Email addresses for roles (e.g., President@organization.org). Separate calendars for committees that can be overlain and viewed as the (members only) chapter calendar.

  18. Non-schedule events Registration, separately displayed

We have various organized events, but some are not on our calendar. We call these "non-calendar" participation, and they DO require Registration. Need a way to clearly present Non-Calendar Registration path to our site visitors, WITHOUT placing it at the top of our Event List (Events Calendar). Obviously, placing it at the bottom of the list is not advisable. Can we link to such a Registration form in an obvious place (e.g., a separate page that we can explain and link to at the top of the All Events List, or (2nd choice) Isolate this Form on the list somehow,…

  19. Guest Registration Options

There are several items to the events area we would like to see improved for more customization.

Guest Registration - The ADD GUEST button is at the bottom of the page...it's not easy to find and seems like after you add a guest and click "DONE" the form pops up again, you should e able to just start adding your next guest...However you actually have to scroll to the bottom of the page to click "Add a guest" again...it's not very easy to follow or find. We would love this to be much easier to follow for our attendees.

  20. Disable/enable multiple events simultaneously

Select multiple events and edit them simultaneously. For example, it would be nice to be able to disable/enable registration for several events at the same time.
