The ability to say no or maybe to an event by admin
A simple event (meeting) where a member can respond Yes No or Maybe...if a member does not click on the correct answer but insteads phones and tells you their response, the only option an admin has is to say yes. I want to be able to say no or maybe as well.

Include Event ID Field to export file
Right now - when exporting the attendance list for an event - the Event Name is exported -that and the date are the only fields that identify the event.
The issue is that we offer the same 'event' name/description multiple times - so w/o a unique eventID - it is difficult to to do reporting outside of WildApricot and distinguish between the various offerings of the same event1 votePublished with version 6.14

Registrant to view and change his event registrations
Current features:
Once registered, a person can not change anything (i.e. cancel/edit details) about their registration, this can only be done by the administratorDesired behavior:
Registrants should have the ability to view and edit their own event registration(s)389 votesHello, dear supporters!
We’re happy to announce that now your registrants can view and cancel registrations.
This suggestion has accumulated many votes and comments. As usual, we started with the main needs and some of your requests are not covered in this release.
What released:
- All registrants now can view all their event registrations in one place. There is new tab ’My registrations’ in the profile.
- You, as administrator, can allow them to cancel their registrations and specify cut-off date if required.
- We added new email – Event registration cancelled. This message is sent when a registration was cancelled, either by an administrator or by the registrant.
What is not covered yet:
- Managing late event cancellation (cancellation fee) – https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932/suggestions/8826904
- Adding guests later or changing existing ones – https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932/suggestions/8827063
- Changing registration details https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932/suggestions/32407099

RSVP - Simplified event registration
Current behavior:
Registration requires filling out online registration form.Desired behavior:
In some cases this is an overkill and what is desired is Evite-style registration when people can simply click on the link in the event and be done with it.Notes:
1) This would only work for people already in the database
2) This would only apply to free events
3) If there are multiple registration types - assign one as default? Force people to choose online?
4) Highly desirable - negative RSVP - when people say they can not attend.306 votesHello, dear supporters!
This suggestion has accumulated many votes over years and is one of the top 3 in “Events” category. We’re happy to announce that the RSVP (we called them Simple events) is now ready for your use!
As all big features, this one contains several suggestions. Some of them are covered in this release, some are not. What released: Admin can create the Simple event that requires only RSVP from registrants – one-click registration with Yes, Maybe, or No answer.
The simple event is very simple now :) Free registrations only, doesn’t allow for guests, registration limits and sessions. Some of these options are still important for you and required, so we will continue to improve our RSVP feature.Check our help page for more details https://help.wildapricot.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=84705294
We hope you’ll like it. Please leave your feedback any time by email, by using in-product feedback form and use our Wishlist… -
Multi-session events with a single registration (e.g. courses)
Current behavior:
Events can not recur automatically, each instance has to be created manually.Desired behavior:
Ability to setup automatically recurring events, for example monthly board meetingsNotes:
1) We need to figure out what kind of recurrence is required, for example:
- every XX weeks on a certain day
- monthly on certain date
- monthly on a certain weekday (e.g. 2nd Tuesday of each month)
2) probably should be able to set max number of recurrence
3) Initially we will not address the ability to register and pay for several events in the series.UPDATED: This post is…

Registration Enabled button on development page
The "Registration is Disabled" wording continues to confound me as I create a registration form. After creating the registration form the registration enabled button should appear on the form itself. I have spent too much time looking for the Registration Enabled button and it is not where it intrinsically should be.

Event end date calendar should start from start date
Once you enter a start date for an event the calendar for the end date should start on the same date. This would reduce scrolling through the better part of a year when entering dates in Nov and Dec.

Waitlist enable / disable status is not clear for registration types
Wait list granularity is great.
However, it would be nice if the user interface made things clear. Because right now, they're not. UI tweaks can solve a world of headaches.

Non-attendance button
We run a very particular club with strict membership requirements. Due to the nature of our club and restrictions placed upon us by contractual arrangements, we require our members to tell us if they are not coming to events, so we can plan, cater and capture costs accordingly.
At the moment we are trying to achieve this via a non-attendance forum, which our members hate. A 'non-attendance' button (or non-attendance registration that does not generate an invoice) would be fantastic!

Filter admin Event list
Current list of events shown for an administrator is very long. It's not a big problem for organization with a few events, but when there are 1000+ of them, it's hard to navigate and search for the one you need. We've received a number of complains about this and decided to create a wishlist suggestion on behalf of all these requests.

Event invoice macro for event confirmation email
I wish we had a macro code for event invoice number that we can include in the event confirmation.
We want to make the event confirmation email an email ticket and all looks good except for having no ticket/invoice number.
We have a macro for the url of the invoice details so providing a macro for the invoice number is not a big ask. See screen shot attached:
3 votesThe Invoice URL macro already presented for all event email templates, including event confirmation email.

Additional Events Lists
Create two Event Lists for us as Gadgets - one that can be pulled into the Events page and one that can be pulled into the Volunteer Opportunities page. They have different content and require two separate Event Gadgets

Waitlist collects full registration form data
Since waitlist registrants collect only name, when a spot opens up and they are manually registered, there is no simple way to have them fill out the form. Collecting full form data when signing up would solve this, and might have the effect of deterring those who are not really interested enough to attend.

Add an API endpoint for creating new events programmatically
Please add a public REST API end point for creating events. This will allow customers to integrate their WildApricot calendars with the plethora of other calendars and scheduling systems that are used on a daily basis.

Enable admins to manually add members to waitlist
Enable administrators to manually add to the waitlist. Frequently, members who wish to enroll in an event call our office to get put on a waitlist. It would streamline our workflow process to have someone manually add to the list instead of referring someone to do it themselves on the website.

Add a preview button to the event emails
It would be helpful to have a "send & preview" button for the event emails just like you have it for all other emails. The only option currently is to send a test email, wait for it in the mailbox, review it in the email software. Why not simply have the "send & preview" button for these emails too?
8 votesThe preview mode for all system emails now displays actual data in place of macros.

Fix the Waitlist Function: The Waitlist does not allow for multiple email registration for same contact
Fix the Waitlist Function:
The Waitlist does not allow for same email registration for several registrants, EVEN if Multiple registrations are ENABLED for same contact.
This is not logical...If I allow multiple registrations per contact, it should allow multiple registrations per contact email on the waitlist too. Otherwise how can a contact save places for everyone they want to sign up for the event? For example when a parent needs to sign up 3 kids to an event...5 votesFixed in 5.17 release.
