  1. Printing the Quickbooks Export Transaction Report [16340]

    Not sure why there isn't functionality already for printing a generated reports through WA. But this would be very helpful to have a report of what you are preparing to export then import into you accounting software and then be able to print said report as documentation for it. (checks/balances).

    I have attached a screenshot of the report in dispute.

  2. E-Way integration for Recurring payments in Aus, NZ and UK

    E-Way is an EXTREMELY competitive payment gateway that allows multiple currency purchases, NEXT day payment into your account and takes recurring payments (what you need for memberships).

    PayPal is our only option at present - it's unreliable and expensive amongst other things.

  3. Add Heartland Payment Systems as a supported online payment system

    We use Heartland Payment Systems to process all of our credit card transactions. In order to work with Wild Apricot, we have to use Authorize.net as a portal to connect to Heartland Payment Systems.

    It would be wonderful if Wild Apricot could add Heartland Payment Systems as a supported online payment system.

  4. Member seller listings to share with others

    Hello. I am very pleased with your product. I run an association that works in the Mergers & Acquisitions space. One of the essential services I need to provide is a listing page that can be searched, printed out, etc. Is it possible to integrate an Access Database into one of the pages?

    Also, we do collaboration and have document retrieval requirements. Any plans to integrate SharePoint?

  5. Allow event payments to be independent of the actual event [12984]

    Man...that is going to take forever! Can this be addressed in future so
    we dont have to keep an bunch of past events?

    I see. Deleting an event deletes all its event registrations AND invoices linked to those registrations - they are interdependent. So now you have payments without corresponding invoices. Unfortunately the only way to handle this now is manually delete all these payments one by one.

  6. Limit number of members in a level

    We would like to suggest a feature that allows for membership to be automatically stopped at a certain number during membership renewals. For example, we can "cap" it at 25 of a certain type and it will stop accepting renewals or new members when that many have signed up.

    It’s unclear on reasons of doing this and there have been no answers for our questions for long time. Closing.

  7. Username vs. Email. Allow login and self-service operations for members without email

    Although the last update of WA software allowed site admins to create membership entries without email addresses, this only addresses a small part of the problem.

    We want to move away from costly site admin intervention, ideally new members will create their own entries and we will only validate them once dues have been paid.

    This means that we really do still need to allow:
    (1) members to sign up without email addresses and
    (2) members to sign up with duplicate email addresses.

    I assume that (2) will have to mean moving away from having the username == email address…

    Thank you for all the feedback and support for this suggestion. After reviewing all the comments and related feature suggestions, we have decided to separate it into multiple ideas and close the original request. For more details, see our explanation below.

    Based on the original request and all the comments we believe this suggestion is trying to combine and solve the following problems:

    1) some members want to be part of an organization, but they don’t have an email address

    2) some members don’t have a personal email address and use a shared email with someone that is also a member/contact

    After careful consideration, we have decided that we won’t be able to support the first scenario in the foreseeable future, for both practical (e.g. additional manual work for admins) and security reasons (e.g. no way to recover an account).   8. Add a spell checker for members when posting to forums

    I have been getting complaints from members saying there is no spell checker to use when they are using the message and discussion area. For months I have been telling them there was as I use it every day.

    The problem is they were correct all the time. I have one in admin mode but when I changed to member view the spell checker was not there. This is a MAJOR problem for me.   10. Increase the number of event announcements

    Two ideas for event management:
    1) allow advance set up for at least 6 announcements - preferably even 8. (Three is too few)
    2) In the schedule wizard for setting the date for event announcement emails change the way we enter that info - at the very least, let us input the number of days in advance (e.g. 45, 30, etc) - having to scroll through until you get to that date is a real pain. Even better, connect it to a calendar widget that allows us to select a specific date. (or both - allow manual entry of 45…

    Regarding 'Polls' - first, thank you; its great that you added this feature. Suggested changes: allow for a free-form answer only. Currently, the only free-form field allowed is the 'Other' field that must be included with either yes/no or multiple choice. Second, please make the poll available to all 'Contacts' as well as 'members'. Yes, we have subscribed members, but we would like to know better how to move the contacts to members. Thank you!

  14. Record payment as an entity then apply to invoice settling

    Our normal workflow is to record a member's payment then apply to invoices until consumed. Many members pay by mail-in check and we expect this to continue. as many members do not use online shopping.

    By recording payment receipt at the invoice level, we loose the cash/check receipt tracking.

  17. Website Enhancements

    Hi there,

    I have just created our website using the WA system and while it was possible to do so in a modern way, it was definitely a difficult task due to the limitations for 'non technical' minded people.

    I would love to see the following website admin/development enhancements to life easier for non technical admins:

    1. Upgrade to a bootstrap 3 functionality for easier development

    2. Integrate with Google fonts directly to eliminate the need to manage through theme overrides.

    3. Create a contact form gadget that can be linked to an 'admin' account and placed on any site page or page…

  20. LOST MY ENTIRE NEWSLETTER

    I just spent 3 hours creating my first newsletter at home - on a Sunday - on my day off and when I went to preview it froze up and then I lost the entire thing...NOOOOOO!!!!! I am in tears and VERY UNHAPPY. 😢😨😫
