We are very happy that we can now accept payments using the PayPal Here mobile card reader in conjunction with the Wild Apricot app. However, we have discovered that it is not possible to accept a donation and have it recorded as a donation in the member's account using PayPal Here - because a payment can only be recorded against an outstanding invoice and there isn't a way to generate an invoice for a donation. This is a big drawback!! We want members to be able to pay both membership dues and donations this way -- preferably in one transaction -- and have the payments recorded in the member account appropriately. Please, please add this ability!
If nothing else, could you add the ability to generate an invoice for a donation? I know that sounds weird - to bill someone for a donation - but that sounds like the easiest fix. Even better would be if it were set up so the invoice wasn't sent to the member but rather just used for internal bookkeeping reasons. I would still want the member to receive an automated Thank You email and receipt, however.

Facility Use Check in/Sign in - Mobile App
I'd like to see the mobile app be able to be used to check-in to the facility. When a member arrives to use the facility, they would tap a button on the mobile app that would allow them to sign in, with any family members also in attendance, and have the record date and time stamped with their membership number. This is separate from events.4 votes
We would like to see an actual calendar on the mobile app vs a list of events. This list is also in REVERSE chronological order. It would be great to have the times listed as well.4 votes
Hi - our membership utilizes member directory app that not only allows us to view members by name, but also by group based on filters we created from Wild Apricot (e.g., Wine Club, K2020, Board, etc.). We also have the option to email the group. I would like to suggest this functionality be considered for the mobile app for Wild Apricot.4 votes
Ride Leaders need to see a list of who has registered for a ride. The only way to do this currently is via admin privilege on the web site. For the mobile app to be useful we need to see who is registered for a ride, not just those who opted in to have their name appear on the public roster.4 votes

New App for Members could be used by our organization IF I can restrict which LEVELS of Memberships could ACCESS the App. Two of our Member Levels are NOT allowed to see All profile fields of the Owners. Currently, it's ALL Members or NO Members. We need a selection criteria under Allow application for members. Surely we aren't the only organization with this issue.4 votes
Everyone who can log into website also can log into mobile app.
Member app shows profile details in the same way as web version, with respect to field visibility settings and level of current user permissions.
Wild apricot allows to restrict field visibility to the following:
– show to anybody
– show to members only
– don’t show to others
Currently neither web version nor mobile app could restrict fields visibility to specific level.
For events displayed in the Mobile App, the registrations types are not sorted in the same way as the desktop version.
Additionally, all registrations types are displayed regardless of their availability. This makes for a confusing experience for users.
At this stage we would probably not use the mobile app for event registration because of this.3 votes
There needs to be a way for members and new members to pay for intial or renewing membership fees. If you can pay for events then why not memberships. Seems like they should go hand in hand. Isn't that what Wild Apricot is all about? Membership software?
Last night I sent out an email to our club recommending members download and use the app and the first two emails I got were about this very topic. Please put this into the wish list lineup.

All the updates that you all have been adding are great. I love the app as an admin on our account. It really helps on the fly. The only this that it's missing to the capability to compose and email or edit a draft using the mobile app. This would help when events need to be cancelled last minute or announcements need to made quickly to members. Please consider adding the email drafting and edit feature to future updates to the app. :)3 votes
If you need to send email to attendees, that is completely possible. Just open related event and in the top right corner press button with dots. Then in popup menu pick “Email registrants”.
At the same time creating general purpose emails from scratch is not supported yet.
We need to be able to check-in registrants and also view their membership status at the same time. This way, we can gather payments for membership dues at the event.
Currently, I have to check-in registrants and then visit their profile to view their status. There are many screens to visit before locating their status (if they have renewed or are still pending).
Is it possible to have the event registrations screen also display their membership status?3 votes
"Guest" are listed under the primary registration contact, the guests may arrive separately from the primary registration contact, this can make it hard to find the guests name in the list as their name is not sorted alphabetically, rather it is listed under the name of the primary registration contact, which is sorted alphabetically.3 votes
Currently admin app is available only on Android and iOS devices.

From what I've read so far through the apps we are not able to create new searches or modify existing searches that have been saved through the desktop version of WA. Could there possibly be a way to add a checkbox on the full version of WA searches to show only those searches in the app? We have a lot of internal searches that don't necessarily need to be included on the app, but it would be nice to be able to reduce the number of searches in the app list to only those that are deemed necessary for our membership administrators.

An automatic (pushed) notification to Admin when new members join and require approval would be VERY useful: it would help prevent inadvertent delays in approving members.2 votes
We are going to add this kind of notifications during 2019.
I would like to have the ability to renew a member using the admin mobile app. Currently, if a member wants to renew, and we are not at a place with a computer (for example, on a field trip) i have to log into the website and go through the admin section. On a phone, the admin section of the web site is unmanageable.2 votes
Allow those admins with read only access to perform event check in at the Mobil App level. Might need a check to make sure they are the event organizer.2 votes
Would it be possible to add a feature to sort out the list of registrants for an event in first name - last name, instead of the reverse as it is currently the case?

Currently, the call button doesn't appear unless the member has a home number entered. Lots of our members don't have if provide home numbers. Can this icon be changed to first listed number?
Or better still, move the icon down to the rhs of any number(s) provided?2 votes
