  2. Public Event Registration

    Public events

    When selecting Public, the system still requires log in to view etc. Not how it is envisioned. When it is set to Public, and Non member/general public should be able to view the event and sign up

  3. Multi event Registration

    Event Registrations where an event can have multiple dates to choose from versus selecting different events.

    a Class or Session can be hosted on
    Monday
    Tuesday or a Wendesday
    Same time, just different dates.

    There doesn't seem to be an option to have One event with multiple dates/sessions. The current use of sessions seems useless and pointless.

  4. reservation type

    For the simple/quick registration form, it would be nice to allow organizer to remove the "maybe" option leaving just "Yes" and "No". For organizations that do not have "programmers", system needs to be simple and easy.

  5. Summary Report of Event Parameters

    We schedule many events. It would be helpful to be able to get a summary report of all upcoming events, the registration status, registration open dates, and dates of scheduled emails. This would help in tracking down in what events I failed to do something correctly without having to open each event separately.

  6. Events Title Not Editable

    When events appear in the Upcoming Events gadget the title cannot be enlarged and is almost lost on the list. I have gone into Colors & Themes but the title of the event isn't listed for editing. I entered a test event and exchanged the Title for the Location and was able to make the title of the Event more obvious. See attached screenshot, the Jewelry event title was switched with the location field entry. Compared to the second event, Men's lunch the name of the event is much more obvious. But when listed in the events list for Admin…

  7. Event email targeting and reply, defaults

    On Events creation forms, the Event Access Permissions and the Email targeting look almost identical, and our users get confused and forget one or the other. Suggestions:
    - Make these two windows slightly different looking; either in color or shading or an icon to indicate where they are
    - On the email targeting window, the default is pre-chosen as "all contacts"; can you leave that unchecked? Targeting of emails is important to us and this would ensure emails get properly targetted. (Ideal: If a target isn't chosen, email won't send.)

  8. Event option limits and wait lists

    Event registration fields sometimes have a limit on the quantity of items that can be selected for a field. This if fine, for each individual registration for that event. But it also needs to have an aggregate limit assigned to prevent multiple members registering for the event option exceeding a "grand" total for that option; with a wait list similar to the "registration type" capability that only applies to the event as whole. This will prevent having to delete the option and put something in like a "gee, could I get one if it becomes available?" option in its place.

    On our site we display in calendar format, but when the page is viewed on a mobile device screen we'd like the option to have it automatically display in list format.

  10. Provide price owing for specific event marco

    The Macro value you provided of {Contact_BalanceAmount} inserts the full balance the member is owning vs. just the value for this one event..
    Is there a macro for the total value of a specific event/this event they are registering for?

  11. Payment for an event obligatory requires "Province" and "Telephone" number

    Currently I am offering the option of "Online payment only". When proceeding with my credit card I am then asked: (1) "Province", and (2) Telephone number. Unfortunately, both entries are obligatory. (1) Whereas "Province" may be important for the US and Canada, they are not frequently used in Europe, and not at all in Austria. (2) There is NO reason to ask for a telephone number when making Credit card payments, and many of our members may take offense. I am thus asking you to reverse the two items from obligatory to optional.

  12. Would like to add timed registration on Automatic wishlist

    We need something similar to the option of time registration for the regular event for Waitlist registration.

    When attendees on event wishlist are alerted via email message automatically they can now registered, there is no timed registration. The available space is now held up by them taking their sweet time to register.

    We then need to get one of our volunteers to reach out to the attendee to push them along. It's extra work.

  15. Event macro for guests and registrant

    Yes, this was very confusing. I phoned Support 3 times to make sure I had it correct. Next version maybe use the words "attendees" which includes the registrant and the guest(s). You could have a macro that adds registrant + guest count to be printed on the confirmation notice.

  16. Event Location Library

    Some WA competitors keep a library of locations used in events to allow them to be easily reused in new events. Some typical solutions are to provide either a drop-down list of previously used locations or a separate pop-up dialog for managing the entries (with, of course a provision for entering a new location).

    A few improvement suggestions for event location fields, such as 8827621 (multi-line formatting) and 10091643 (maps), could be handled by simply allowing HTML formatting in the location field. This would allow multi-line formats, links to maps, to venue descriptions or to directions.

  18. Put non-members on waitlist until a Member has registered.

    For some of our events (e.g. a weekend), a Member must be present in order for non-Members to attend. We'd like the system to accept a non-Member registration, but waitlist them until a Member has signed up. Once a Member has registered, then non-Members should be registered as usual, but the waitlist should flow in first. Or, if first-in/first-out isn't appropriate, the waitlist would be managed as usual by the Organizer (reservationist). This would be for only some events. Some other events, anyone can register without this requirement.

    Almost always, at least one responsible Member does register, but till then…

  19. Event cancellations

    I may be missing something but when someone's registration at an event is cancelled, why do they still show up on the registrant list that is exported?

    If they have cancelled, it's no longer relevant to the attendees when it comes to ordering food and materials. Very confusing.
