  2. Added registrants by admin - email messages not being sent automatically

    When your system does all the great things automatically, such as registering online for an event, I really appreciate them. Getting copies of registrations, payments, etc. helps me a great deal.
    WHY would you NOT want to provide the same level of service when I enter a NEW registrant manually myself?
    The way it is currently working, if I add a new registrant and the information required, THEN I have to ASK the system to:
    * Send a registration confirmation message to the NEW registrant.
    * Send a registration confirmation message to me (and the other Admins).

  3. Produce screen display data as a single, coherent table that can be exported or copied.

    First, many people have asked for various ways to export various reports, but there are so many wishes that none of them has a lot of votes. Yet, overall, reporting is -- or should be -- a capability that any thoughtful organization should require.

    Let me also preface that exporting raw data to a spreadsheet file is NOT a solution to the needs of many of us. 1) We came to WA to AVOID messing with spreadsheets. 2) Some of our (otherwise very competent) members (volunteers all) abhor spreadsheets.   5. Event Registration List Security

    Option to secure the event registration list so only the admin who posts the event can delete or add registrations via admin editing. We have many event admins, but have encountered some abuse where admins go into events not their own to change participation.

  6. Put event registration list on the event details page

    Put the event registration list on the same page as the event details. There's no reason why they are on different pages. This would make it much easier for organizers and attendees to see who's attending an event without all the extra clicks.

  7. List of Events by Event Organizer

    It would be great to be able to view all events that were organized by a particular member in:
    a) the admin panel (Contacts>[Member]>Events)
    b) a personal profile
    c) a public profile, if the Member chooses
    d) via a gadget (e.g. events calendar with organizer filter)

    This way admins can easily view suborganizations' event activity, and other members can easily find events hosted by a particular suborganization.

    currently the 'default' event schedule email is to all contacts, with selectable options after that. It would be better if the 'default selection was members' with various options after that. for example diffent classes of members or other contacts.

    Currently if you create an event that is intended for members or member classes only the email schedule defualt is all contacts, irrespective of who they are and what they may be a contact for.

    Yes, we administrators should be checking, but an inadvertent email to members onl is more easily managed than an email to all contacts.

  11. show registration on event list change default to "show"

    Currently the default for showing a participant on the waitlist is set to Not Show them. We can change it in the Event details page for each event. But it still won't show waitlisted people who are moved over to the registration list unless we manually uncheck those individual people while they are on the waitlist (or after if we miss that). This is more important now that the new automatic transfer from waitlist to registered is implemented. Love not having the manual work to transfer waitlisted people over, but we still have manual work to make them show. This…

  12. Export Event Details

    WISH LIST: For our events, participants can register for up to 10 "items" on a single registration. When I export the information, all the "items" appear in a single cell. It would be helpful if all the items they skipped had blank cells, and the items they selected had a notation. This is VERY IMPORTANT to me.

  13. Available Period under Registration Types

    In Help & Support, under "Event Registration Available Period" it is important to tell users that this function appears under Event Details until two or more Registration Types are created. Thereafter, the Event REgistration Available Period can only be changed by editing the Registration Type.

    I would like to have a choice of opening times. At the moment it is set for midnight and it is not very practical for people who work and can't stay up. There should be a choice.

  16. Linking Invoices to Events

    I would like to be able to link the following:
    Contact to Event to Invoice. We are a community center that has a membership base but also rents out our facility.
    We need to quote prices for specific events and then invoice for the event (rental of facility) when they decide to book it. And we need to be able to link the contact and the invoice to the event (facility rental). Ultimately being able to switch between the Contact that is renting our facility to financial transactions (Invoice) and to the Event. Currently we are using File Maker Pro…

  17. Link Events to Contacts (for scheduling events)

    I would like a link between an Event and the Contact that scheduled the event. So that I could click on an event in the calendar and have access to the contact vice versa , click on a contact and see all events they have scheduled. And icing on the cake would be to be able to select existing contact info when setting up an event.

  18. Excahnges

    Exchanging tickets for an event is a complicated process. The original purchaser (member) must be cancelled and their account credited for the amount of the event, then the new purchaser (member) must be registered and invoiced. A single step within Wild Apricot would save much time and effort.

  19. calendar year

    The year design of the calendar only shows the start date not the end date. So events that are multiple days are not apparent. It also appears that our venue is open and it is not.

    Just another Like: your system is consistently surprising me in a positive way: not only does your system provide me with the functions I need, every time I start doing something new. But is does so in a smooth, rich and intuitive way.
