  1. Keep event registration invoices when actual event is deleted

    Man...that is going to take forever! Can this be addressed in future so
    we dont have to keep an bunch of past events?

    I see. Deleting an event deletes all its event registrations AND invoices linked to those registrations - they are interdependent. So now you have payments without corresponding invoices. Unfortunately the only way to handle this now is manually delete all these payments one by one.

  3. Ability to invoice at group level rather than individual

    Many of our events have a cost associated with them, however the cost is invoiced to their organisation (rather than the individual paying). It would be great if, using the group functionality, we could invoice for the event at the group level and the invoice would include the event cost for individuals that attended the event from that particular group.

    This would be set in the Registration Type screen where a particular registration type is set to 'group invoicing'.

  4. Add Location information to Event Settings screen

    Our events tend to be held at the same set of locations (once we find a good venue we stick to it :) ). We would like the ability to set these locations up in a settings screen (including a link to a functional page about the location) and then be able to select one of these locations from a drop down menu on the event details screen (rather than the open text field used currently).

  5. Member registering on behalf of another contact but not being an attendee themselves

    We use Wild Apricot for the registration of training sessions, seminars and the like. There are many occasions that we have a person's assistant or secretary that will register their manager / team leader for a event on their behalf. The issue is that then the assistant/secretary is also registered for the event and this is not accurate and throws out our attendee numbers (for registration limits and catering, etc).

    We are open to alternatives in achieving this - ie if a member could remove themselves from an event or (preferred) to be able to register a guest/contact/member without registering…

  6. Collect only registration form for guest registrations

    Currently the three options for Guests of a registration are: For guest registrations Only collect total number of guests Collect contact information for each guest Collect full registration form for each guest All of our events allow for guests from the same Company. The guests can choose a variety of options that do not have to be the same as the registrant. We don't need the full contact information again, and having to enter it is somewhat bothersome. However we do need more that just the guest count. The only work around found is to include "Participant #1", "Participant #2"…

  7. Separate billing contact for event registration

    I suggest adding another email field in the contact profile for the Accounts Payable. Often the contact who is registering is not in billing and if the registrant does not pay by credit card then then the A/P staff does not know they owe money b/c the contact does not forward the confirmation invoice via email. This is especially cumbersome with multiple employees in one company.

  8. Custom metadata for events pages

    I run 3-4 events a week and autopost these to FaceBook using the events page RSS and Twitterfeed. It works a treat except that the posts contain the same blurb and a title which I'm not too happy about (you can see what I mean here: https://www.facebook.com/MySocialCircle )

    Is it possible, to customise the title for the event details pages? It seems to read as "organisation name - event title" as the page title, and the blurb appears to come from the events calendar page description meta tag.

    Is it possible to change the description metadata dynamically (to take details…

  9. Managing late event cancellation - payment forfeit

    Currently, when you cancel an attendee from an event where they have paid a registration fee, the system credits their account with the amount paid for that event, which is fair enough EXCEPT in some cases, when we have had to pre-purchase tickets and technically cannot refund the amount, but would still like to cancel the registration for recording purposes.

    It would be good if, when cancelling an event registration that is not free, we are given the option to credit the account or not. That way, if you want to make the funds available to use for another event…

  10. Show Refunds with the Event

    Currently, if you click on Finances, then Payments and Refunds, you can see refunds issued for a cancelled event registration (i.e., through PayPal). But, there is a also Payment and Refunds tab under the Financials of the actual event, which shows nothing (please see attached image). This is very confusing. Shouldn't my Refunds also show under the actual event? (Click Events, select event, click Financials, click Payments and Refunds tab?)

    WA says they don't appear because, once you cancel the Registration, it deletes the invoice, so it has no data to find and show. WELL..... what if you didn't delete…

  11. Admin preview of event registration settings

    I'm frustrated that there is no preview feature for the admin creating an event. I very much want to view the page/option I'm working on without having to open all registration options, register, delete my registration, and then close all options. It's a very time-consuming workaround.

    Other details on my events wishlist:

    * change registration field type with a click of a button, ex: from dropdown to checklist
    * enable/disable registration types from registration view page (action buttons on a single page)
    * bundle event registration with membership application/renewal. I want registrants to automatically become members by opting in -…

    Today a client requested an "Add to Google Calendar" button on our event details page, in addition to the "Add to Outlook" function we already have.

  13. Event Creation Should Allow No Date in Calendar [11793]

    There are many times when we have a future event but not a date for it yet. We would like to still put this event in our events list but not be forced to put a date that will be wrong and misleading even if we put a comment DATE TO BE DETERMINED.

  14. Private Calendar that Members can link with their icalendars

    Currently this is not possible for a private calendar due to password protection. However I know other software gets around this so only members can subscribe to a calendar. Is it possible this could come to Wild Apricot?

  15. Simplify adding event into my calendar - e.g. attach calendar invitation into emails or suggest to add on the last screen

    I'd like to be able to attach an ical (Microsoft Outlook Calendar) file to event registration confirmation emails as I do not like to include all of the details of the meeting/webinar/training on our events page since it's open to the public. I've ran into issue in which attendees do not register since they have all of the information needed to attend. This would greatly help in encouraging registration and provide them the ability to add the details to their own calendar. Thanks!

  16. Guest Registration - Need Variable Pricing Options

    Dear Wild Apricot and Users,

    I represent a small non-profit that uses WA to put on conferences with 80-100 exhibitors, 500 attendees and roughly $50,000 in sponsorship.

    We need a variable pricing system for guest registrations, where say a range of guests for each registration type are one price and another range is another price. Such as: Guests 1-2 are free, but Guests 3+ are a given price.

    This is why we need this service, from our perspective: At our conference, an exhibit booth comes with two registrations, but after that, we want people to pay $150 for additional registrants.…

  17. Include "no entry" participant detail on Registration Fields report

    Currently this report does not provide participant names for those without data entered in the field(s) requested when you generate the report.

    This would be helpful, since now the event manager has to go back to figure out which registrant is missing the data. We use this field frequently to ask for roommate preferences on trips --- often people don't have one at registration time, so it is left blank.

    I know we can force an entry by making the field mandatory to make them say something there, (or export to Excel) but it would be much simpler if the…

  18. Display tags in event listing

    It would be great to display the tags (labels/categories) assigned to each event in the published event listing and or calendar. I would like to make these tags visible to the public when registering, as they contain information that is potentially useful to the registrant.

    I looked the online guide and forums, but could not find an answer to this question. A simple check box when setting up the event (Display tags for this listing? Check here) would suffice.

    It would be really cool if WA could have a gadget that could present the recent past events, much like there is a gadget to present upcoming events. That would help major for what we are doing.

  20. multiple choice with extra cost - needs more mgmt options

    We would find "multiple choice with extra cost" much more useful if it had a few more features. We find we always need capacity and the ability to close a multiple choice option without deleting it. We hold an annual conference with many extra choices for social events and luncheons at extra costs. We run into WA problems for example when In the last days leading up to the event, we have to close some of the multiple choice items(caterer needs last head count), but we can still take general event registrations. Or, we may have an offsite tour and…
