  2. find all usages of a specific resource (e.g., image)

    I want to find all pages that are using a specific image. In WordPress, each image in the media folder indicates where in the site the image is used. Please add that to Wild Apricot!

  5. Customize Upcoming Events gadget

    Is there a way to customize the Upcoming Events gadget? I'd like an easy way to show a condensed list of events. For example, we have board meetings once per month, same time and place - the only thing different is the date. I have filtered the events by tag (GREAT), but the list is still so big and cumbersome with the title, date, and location. I'd like to be able to show just the dates as links to the events. Is there a way to do this?

  6. Need more controls for mobile view

    Allow suppression of text content as well as images.

    Need separate controls for content gadgets for mobile view for each element. Margins, padding, alignment and image sizes need to be adjustable for mobile viewing.

  7. Registration Form "Additional Guest" confusion

    Currently when a person registers for an event and is buying for multiple people they have to add the number of additional guests to the registration. Themselves plus the additional people.
    This is confusing a numbers of our customers who are buying one too many tickets because they are entering the total number of guests, not the number of additional guests.

    Is there a way to change the wording on this to make it easier to understand or perhaps ask for the total number of guests? If someone has examples on how to do this it would be much appreciated.

  8. More font choices in email editor

    More font choices, please. Especially need a narrow sans serif and serif. The email font choices are so limited that it makes me want to go back Mailchimp for newsletters. As limited as Mailchimp is, it has better font options.

    Give designers a break. We need more fonts.

  9. file and folder structure

    It used to be that I could make a folder for a current month's email bulletin and it would appear at the upper left of the file folders and stay there when I wanted to find the file or image I wanted. Now the folders sort in strange ways and I have to go find the folder I need when I want to use something. This is very awkward.

  10. Publish variables which can be used for conditional display

    In general, visibility control in Wild Apricot is limited to the page level. Thanks to the helpful Wild Apricot support staff, I can now use the javascript variable "bonaPage_IsUserAnonymous" to control conditional display of page elements depending on whether the use is logged in.
    Now I would like to have more granular control of displayed elements (e.g. <li> or <tr> elements) depending on group membership. I assume that this would be possible with a bit more knowledge about the data/variables available to scripts in Wild Apricot. Presumably these are already documented for the use of WA-internal developers. Why not publish…

  11. How do I add the "more" link so I can show a small amount of text and have the rest expand?

    I have a Home Page using a Content gadget to give some About Us info. I'd like to initially just show the first paragraph and have a "more" link to allow the user to expand the information if they want. I tried using the Collapse function and it shows the "more" link properly but still shows all of the text below that.

  12. Changing the Pay Offline button label for event registration to Pay by Check

    My club members are used to being able to pay by check at the door for our monthly events. We are new to Wild Apricot and the Pay Offline button is confusing to some of the older members. Can someone help me with how to change the label on that button to Pay by Check?

  13. Forum Gadget - Initial forum description should be part of forum topic

    It seems that every other forum I have used always lists the initial description with the title of the Forum Topic at the top. Replies to the topic are listed below. Your own WA support forums work that way!!

    The current forum gadget treats the initial description the same as one of the replies, so that it may appear at the top or bottom . depending on your settings. This is a problem and should be fixed.

    Basic blog customization

    We need a way to customize the way the blog looks! I'm not looking for anything fancy, but if I can't change the colour of the blue boxes or the alignment of the headers, I basically can't use the gadget. Please! The current blog format is super ugly and makes us look really hokey. Please give us more options on the blog format! (I'm using the Kaleidoscope Redwood theme...maybe there's a better one for blogging?)

  15. Is there a gadget that can be used to allow members to enter Information?

    We have several "sign up" sheets for our club. For instance people sign up to get tables and chairs ready for meetings. Currently the webmaster is entering the information into an HTML table and displaying it in a Content gadget. Ideally we would put a form on the website with Months as a label with a field that people can enter their name into. Is there any way to publish a form that people can make entries into?

  18. Responsive slideshow with automatic width/height

    I'm experimenting with the WA slideshow gadget, but the problem I'm having seems to be with the choices for the sizing. It seems I can only choose from fixed layouts (16:9, 3:4, 1:1, or a fixed height). This works ok for camera photos that actually are in those aspect ratios but not so good for custom images like banners and header images which may have different aspect ratios such as being very long and rectangular (e.g., a 10:1 aspect ratio). Choosing the "Landscape 16:9" option displays the entire banner image, but it also puts a lot of whitespace above and…

    We're want to create more resources for anyone who designs sites on top of Wild Apricot. But as always we're looking to get your input first.
    To get the ball rolling here are some ideas we've been thinking about.
    1) Wild Apricot Web Designer Guide (online/e-book) - A detailed guide to all the structural CSS elements of a page, including a cookbook (recipe) approach to customizations. 2) Wild Apricot 'Designer Community' (online only) - Move all customization/design resources to a new location (i.e., outside of forums and help) built just for designers to discuss, share and learn different techniques for…

  20. Event listing--adding border, adding register button

    We are using Firma-Above the Clouds.

    The concern is the CSS options for our page https://mdflora.org/trips.html

    When the Event List gadget is used, it is very confusing to determine the separation of different events, especially in mobile screen size.

    We would like to have a border around each event, or at minimum a horizontal line between the events.

    Any advice, or suggested css would be appreciated.
